This is the secret project I'm working on. It's still in its very early stages and I intend on working on it more but I have little but minutes to spend on it each day.

I made THIS IMAGE deceiving for reason, check it out now and see how advanced those Icons were for day two of released firmware 2.0.

Well anyways, its gonna be improved more and more as to how I see the REAL XMB_2.0 should look and feel, and I'll keep you informed as it comes along. Just extract this file to any location and run either the swf, or exe which ever you prefer.

In a huge step for pro gaming, the Cyberathlete Professional League has announced today they will be giving away $1 million in total prize money for an open Halo 3 competition at the Extreme Winter Championships taking place Tuesday, Dec. 18 to Saturday, Dec. 22 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, Texas.

CPL founder Angel Munoz gave GGL all the details on this monumental tournament for the year’s hottest-selling game, the Xbox 360’s Halo 3. Here is official word from the CPL regarding the announcement and how anyone can take part:

­The Cyberathlete Professional League® (CPL®) announces that it will host a $1,000,000 “Halo® 3″ Xbox 360™ competition at the Extreme Winter Championships taking place Tuesday, December 18 to Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas, Texas.

According to a pair of new surveys released by IDC and IDG Entertainment (IDGE), the booming market created by online-capable consoles means that online console download revenues will triple from $133 million in 2006 to $583 million in 2007, with bigger increases expected in the future.

Billy Pidgeon, IDC’s program manager for games research presented his report analyzing the booming popularity of online capable video game consoles, and projected that by 2008 the North American installed base of such consoles will be over 37 million units.

Suffering from its exorbitant price point and a dearth of titles, Sony's PlayStation 3 isn't exactly the most popular gaming platform on the block. But while the console flounders in the commercial space, the PS3 may be finding a new calling in the realm of science and research.

Right now, a cluster of eight interlinked PS3s is busy solving a celestial mystery involving gravitational waves and what happens when a super-massive black hole, about a million times the mass of our own sun, swallows up a star.

Last Thursday in San Francisco, Cadence -- a company not well-known to anyone but chip makers, but extremely crucial to them for the software and hardware solutions it provides for the design of chips -- held a roundtable discussion with high-level staff responsible for some of the most crucial processors in the gaming space.

Attendees included AMD's vice president of engineering, Robert Feldstein, Cadence Design Systems' CTO Ted Vucurevich, IBM fellow and director of processor technology James A. Kahle, Intel director of gaming program office Randy Stude, and NVIDIA vice president of graphics processing unit engineering Jonah M. Alben.

The LA Auto Show, which kicks off in mid-November, is holding its fourth annual Design Challenge. This year, it asked leading manufacturers to create a concept for a "RoboCar of 2057." What do Audi, General Motors, Honda, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen think you'll be driving by then? The answers take into consideration environmental concerns, safety and your wildest dreams.

Audi came up with the Virtuea Quattro, a hydrogen-powered vehicle with artificial intelligence and a holographic exterior so that people can customize and change their car's look at whim without environmental impact.
