To quote from runandgun: He's denied me like 20 times in 6 months.
It takes anywhere from hours to days to get denied... also I've seen a short video of a guy being accepted by Old Snake and the account playing Lost Planet. So it is most likely not a bot and instead someone's genuine account.
Video is below, courtesy of GameTrailers:
To quote: Imagine an encrypted data chip so secure that even the greatest hackers in history would find impossible to crack. That chip is very much a reality thanks to the combined efforts of Siemens, Austrian Research Centers (ARC) and Graz University of Technology who have teamed up to create the first quantum cryptology chip for commercial use to ensure securer electronic communication.
The lock protects data using a random sequence of numbers from light particles. At the moment, data is protected using a key distribution system based on mathematical algorithms. But, with enough time and effort, those algorithms can be cracked. The quantum cryptographic light lock, on the other hand, takes advantage of the laws of nature by using photons—individual light particles—to create completely ... More »
There is no mention of what it is or whether it's PlayStation 3-exclusive, but this certainly has Team PlayStation Beyond well and truly stumped.
We would have suggested LA Noire if it weren't for the key word 'new'. It could be well off the mark, but to make guesswork of the quote, we’re assuming it’s a snowboarding game, hence the term 'cool'.
After all, many scoffed at the announcement of Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis and then ate their words when it turned out to be a brilliant sports title from the Grand Theft Auto developer. We'll keep our eyes peeled!
Download: Ocarina Wii Cheat App
From the ReadMe: Ocarina is a very simple Wii application for your homebrew channel. What it does? Start a game.. but there's a twist of course.
Ocarina checks the GAME ID.. like RZDP01 for Zelda Twilight Princess (PAL). Then it checks the inserted SD card whether it can find a cheat code file for that game: in this case it would have to be name [sd]:codesrzdp01.gct.
To create GCT files.. a PC application is bundled in the package. This application is coming with 2 example files. rsbe.txt and rsbp.txt (Smash Brothers NTSC-U and PAL respectively). Using the File men... More »

Nintendo of Japan, along with 54 other companies, has filed a lawsuit against a number of distributors that import the popular “R4 Revolution” single-slot flash cart.
If you’re not aware, the device — coupled with a MicroSD card — allows users to load unsigned code onto their Nintendo DS, in addition to unauthorized copies of DS titles — otherwise referred to as ROM images.
Nintendo says the R4 cart is causing “immense monetary harm” to software companies, obviously due to its ability to run copied ROM images.
Capcom, Square Enix, Namco Bandai, SEGA, and Altus are just a few of the companies standing behind Nintendo in the suit, which has been filed in the Tokyo District Court under the Unfair Competition Prevention Law.

To quote from Bushing's page linked above: ChipD is a lean, mean, solderin’ machine — I have some of these TSOP sockets, and they are really really hard to solder down to a PCB that you actually care about. Also, they tend to melt if you breathe on them — but maybe that’s just me. I really like the way he made that slick cutout panel for the socket.
Beyond soldering a socket in place of the NAND flash chip, he programmed two spare flash chips with dumps from a PAL Wii and an NTSC/J Wii. He converted those two dumps to run on his Wii using an early version of some of my UnbrickMii project code (”betwiin”).
No news yet on release plans; it still needs a lot of work, but it’s interesting to note that there are absolutely no hardware differences between Wiis from different regions.

According to forum posters at PSPChina, the long-rumored PSP-3000 in is production and will include a built-in mic, along with minor cosmetic changes.
To substantiate their claims, one of the forum goers supplied a photo of the unit, which depicts a new button with the PS brand logo next to the two volume push buttons, in replace of the HOME button found on the PSP-1000 and 2000 series. To the right of the volume buttons is the microphone.
Keep in mind these photos are not confirmed to be the real deal and that they should be considered rumor for now. We'll be following up with Sony to learn more about its PSP plans and get comment on the authenticity of the photos.

Tmaster let us know at the link above that silenoz has found a way to run simple Java games on the PS3 with the BD-J (Blu-ray Disc Java) functionality.
To quote silenoz: I've managed to launch a simple Java game on Game OS, with the BD-J functionality, thanks to the HDCookBook project. You just need to copy some files on a USB key and you're good to go.
Steps to launch Blaster Bunny, pictured below, are as follows:
1) Download it HERE and UnZip it.
2) Copy it to the root of a USB/Flash drive.
3) Go to the device in the video menu and launch "AVCHD".
4) Go to BONUS and click GAME to launch Blaster Bunny.
It has also been confirmed that this method has been working on all PS3's regardless of Firmware and region, including 2.41 apparently, and it's likely to work for other Java Vir... More »
