Last year there was an average of just below two updates a month which would seem sufficient. The problem was a long painful stretch from mid-November to mid-January that lacked any. If they can keep the consistency up this year than everyone should be pleased with the post-release roster support.
One thing that isn’t noted in this list is the fixing of player numbers. I immediately noticed that Julian Peterson had gone from the #59 of last year to the #98 of this year. Continue on to view the complete list of transactions, ratings adjustments, new contract lengths, and injured reserve placement.

A few weeks back, we posted a video of PS3 Firmware 2.40 Debug in action on a TEST PS3 unit, and more recently Sony confirmed the PS3 Firmware 2.40 Update's Features (including detailing which titles currently offer Trophy support), along with an Official PS3 Firmware v2.40 FAQ.

From our past news, according to the US Patent Office a patent referenced to 20080150911 refers to a "A hand-held electronic device..."
The inventor is stated as Phil Harrison... can't be the same Phil as the one who has recently departed Sony for Infogrames/Atari? Can it?
"The device may comprise a case case having one or more major surfaces; a touch screen disposed on one of the major surfaces, the touch screen; a processor operably coupled to the touch screen; and one or more tactile pixels disposed proximate the touch screen."
Section of the USPO's page mentions, "22. The met... More »
So what is the "a lot" part that has gone on lately? Mostly stuff that may eventually lead to newsworthy progress. I myself have recently acquired nearly 1GB of new Sony goodies to play with, and I have been spending much of my freetime examining a lot of the included documentation.
One interesting thing we recently found out is that Sony has released a NEW model PS3 TEST. It is the DECHJ00J/DECHJ00A. It is supported in SDK version 2.17 and later, and features a 40GB Hard Disk Drive, and two USB ports. Like its retail counterpart, it also lacks PS2 hardware, so it can not play PS2 games.
I've also been working with another PS3 Dev on getting Pr... More »

Jeuxvideo.com user Diablox9 shows us proof with images and a video. Once again, the GTA IV release date has been broken!
Video below:
Gameplay:
-You can roll or underhand a grenade with real physics
-You can lean your guy with the six-axis instead of the d-pad
-There is proximity chat
-Your clan can talk via open chat, but you can L2 to chat to everyone on your team. Or if you have proximity chat then you chat with who ever is around you.
-Audio has changed. Sounds around a corner sound muffled.
-There is now a run/sprint mode. You can run/sprint but you can’t shoot and your gun will not be accurate after running. So basically just use this too avoid snipers.
-Tilt with the six-axis can be tweaked for sensitivity
-There are exploding barrels and cars.
-View distance is big, so no more fog like SOCOM 2
-Smoke looks dark gray
-They talk about the 3rd person view. They said because the new widescreen TVs have a different ratio, there was too much space on each side of the classi... More »
Want to know how many hours of gameplay are in the action-adventure game? Jeronimo Barrera, a senior developer at Rockstar, says it takes testers playing 4 hours a day “a good 2 weeks to get through the whole single-player game.” So if they are playing a full week that’s about 56 hours total!
Take a look at the “Everyone’s A Rat” trailer below:
Below are the latest official details on the CoD4 map pack:
Since details on the maps have been pretty scattered throughout the internet, I thought I’d give you guys a comprehensive breakdown of each map in the upcoming Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare along with some suggestions on gametypes, classes, and a few more screenshots to look over; all in one location.
For those of you who don’t know, these maps will be hitting in April and will be 800 MS Points (same pricing for PSN). Along with the map pack will be a few minor changes to the game, including a tweak to Clan Tags to re-allow special characters.
Individual DLC Map Descriptions:
