The video shows:

- Warhawk running from HDD
- no PKG version
- no WH disc while WH is running
- Motorstorm running as proxy disc
- legal way

I wont explain the details here till the project is finished 100%, also cuz many devs want to take a look at first and not get it patched that fast. I can say that if all will work like I want it to you'll need:

- "special" game dump of the game you want to play from HDD
- one (any) original bd game
- 2x minimum 60GB HDD's (illegal way - it worx but its not allowed in most countrys - its working like a packed game on psp memory stick)

OR

-1 60GB HDD + original disc (legal way - no need to be inserted while playing)

Im using newest firmware PAL 60GB SKU. 3 games tested yet - working.
Games which should be possible from the knowledge i got yet:

- Warhawk
- Motorstorm More »

In March 2001 the dream was over. A little more than eighteen months after its European launch, Sega discontinued its final console and retreated from the gaming hardware wars for good. Despite a strong launch and a line-up of great and innovative games, the Dreamcast couldn't stand up to the onslaught of Sony's all-powerful PlayStation 2. A project that had started out with high hopes and a real vision for the future of gaming now felt like another console failure.

Look at the numbers, and that verdict still stands. Dreamcast never achieved the sales or won the third-party software support that could have kept the dream alive and Sega in the console business. Pull away from the raw figures, however, and you can see that Dreamcast helped shape the console hardware and services we know today. Maybe with the benefit of hindsight we can see that Dreamcast wasn't a disaster. In fact, you could say it was ahead of its time.

Why? Let's start with the physical design... More »

Hello.. today we release a PlayStation 3 Security Architecture PDF document to the public. We still are doing some work on PS3 KeyVault Project, so still not ready yet.

For the PDF.. this is not for newbies sorry. Target Audience: Deep knowledge of CBEA SOC, Sony PlayStation 3 hardware logic, security, encryption/decryption and secure boot dynamics is the minimum to understand the parts of this document.

Thanks to all the stuff of http://www.PS3News.com, without their support this documentation would not be possible, thanks also to Sony for all the nice patents. :)

According to THIS post (and also the pics/video below) he can play in PS3 Home now without being invited into the BETA program, however, there are no other users active he states as follows: I am the only one there. I can't see anyone there, it's like me being the last man on earth. I haven't seen anyone yet, so far I have been in the (I think its) something Squar- the theather, and right now I'm in the bowling alley.

Update: beefmanbeefer has confirmed it to be working with PS3 Firmware 2.20, however, based on reports it appears it doesn't work with lower Firmware versions.

He also shared a video (below) and states: Here is PS3 Home BETA crashing, what I do in the video is this: First I try to connect to the servers and it fails. Then I press X to try to connect again, and almost simultaneously I press the PS button and go to quit. It then says please wait and then the ps3 finally crashes when you hear the 2 beeps.

Hi, My name is Krystian and my english is bad, that's all about me :)

I found some interesting thing when I was 'playing' with PS3.ProxyServer. I replaced some XML files, and now I can install PlayStation@Home public BETA Trial from PLAYSTATION@Network servers in XMB.

Yesterday we posted a rumor of a PS3 Hello World Homebrew Method found by dragula96. Many were skeptical as it was announced the day before April Fool's Day, however, today we are happy to confirm the only fools were those who dubbed it as "fake" :P

Courtesy of dragula96, here is the PS3 Hello World UT3 Mod Proof-Of-Concept along with related info and a new video detailing how it was done! Please NOTE (as suspected in the previous comments) this is a UT3 Mod and not true PS3 homebrew (running unsigned code), however, it is an excellent accomplishment in itself.
