When looking at an alternative phone to the iPhone or 3G versions, you may want to take a look at the Sony Ericsson Experia X1 because it does sport from advantages.

We are still waiting for the Experia X1 to have a price and carrier announced, this would likely be AT&T or T-Mobile later this year.

What we like about the Experia X1 is the option of both a high-resolution touch-screen and hardware QWERTY keyboard as navigation options.

The keyboard slides from under the display and will appeal to those that love real buttons to press, although the touch screen will give the phone the benefits of more keys if they update the software in the future or add 3rd party add-ons.

Some people might find this a better option than just having a touch screen like on the Apple iPhone but there are problems with this, you should be aware that the hardware keyboard makes the Experia X1 about a quarter-inch thicker than other touch-screen phones.

Nobody paying attention to you in forums? Well worry not. Gamers World Bangladesh brings you a list of the hot-button topics that is sure to get a surge of comments headed your way, and possibly more than what you bargained for.

1. Brand Loyalty (Equals Fanboyism)

Whatever you do, never say you love [insert favorite console here] instead of the PS3/Xbox 360/Wii/PSP/DS for fear of being branded as a fanboy. You’ll be instantly drowned in hate messages from other people defending their PS3/Xbox 360/Wii/PSP/DS (aka other fanboys). I think of fanboyism as brand loyalty. Variations also include ATI vs Nvidia.

2. Microsoft sucks

Anything with Microsoft (or Vista) in the headline and defaming the company is a surefire way to get attention. Who cares if its chairman is the largest donator to charity. So what if almost everyone uses Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer (although Firefox is gaining). The point is they can’t do an... More »

Courtesy of Eric Lempel (Director, PlayStation Network Operations) via the PlayStation Blog today:

Hi again! It’s great to see the positive reaction to the unveiling of system software update v2.40.

We can’t wait for you to finally go hands-on with XMB access in-game and the Trophy system – and it’s less than 2 days away.

Not surprisingly, a number of you have posed questions both here and on other forums.

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions:

Will voice-messaging/private chat be featured in 2.40 as well? If not, can we expect to see this feature added in the future?

We are evaluating the opportunity to offer voice chat, but for this update, we wanted to focus on text messaging as the key priority for communications that our users have asked for.

Can you use the web browser in game?

No, you must exit the game before browsing the int... More »

The best parts of video games are often "what the heck" moments. Whether it's an amazing twist that makes you stand back in awe, or if it's just a moment that has you so confused you can barely think about anything else... they make an amazing game that much more amazing. There are plenty of these moments strewn about the history of gaming, but we bring you the Top 5.

Warning: There are spoilers included both in the descriptions and in the videos. So please, if you want to play the game and enjoy the WTH moment for yourself, do not read on.

5 - Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Multi-platform)

Ok, most people knew this was coming before they had even played the game. A sneak peek of this section in Call of Duty 4 was shown in one of the trailers and it spread across the Internet.

But, the WTH factor in this section of the game, where your helicopter is destroyed by a nuclear explosion and ... More »

The initial shock and awe of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has come and gone, and it's now time to reflect on Hideo Kojima's recently released opus. Though MGS4 is no doubt a stunning game and many would argue evidence for videogames being treated as art, it's by no means perfect.

Having just completed the game and spent some time in Metal Gear Online, I'm here to share my gripes about the game. Being a long-time fan of the MGS series, it's frustrating to see MGS4 turn out the way that it did, but I suppose it is what it is.

Be warned, I don't have any criticisms of the story, but I do discuss the gameplay in each Act of the game, so if you don't want anything spoiled, best to just move on.

1. No reason to be on the Playstation 3

Why is this game on the PS3 again, besides Sony likely throwing a ton of money at Konami to keep it exclusive? It doesn't utilize the Playstation 3's strengths at all. The previously sho... More »
