They took out a microscope in order to test the difference between the screens as follows:
On PSP-3000 and newest PSP-3004, Everyone get a "bad screen" (scanline effect). But what happen on these screens ? in fact we get a microscope, and we tested differencies between old good screens, and newest bad screens.
In fact, after looking it 40X bigger, we can see all pixels. As you know, a pixel got 3 colors : blue, green and red. The biggest issue is the blue part of the pixel is not "light", but very dark, near black ... The or issue is that the blue part is horizon aligned, not vertical aligned, like old screens. It's why we have a scanline effect.

I need a little help from the community, if possible i'd like to have from all of you uploaded somewhere (example: rapidshare) the first 2048KB of the HDD partition. Specifically i need a test conducted this way:
Power up the ps3, go to the formatting utility, and format the ps3 HDD with the option of 10GB for the ps3 system.
Power off the ps3, remove the hard disk, attach it to the PC and dump the first 2048KB.
Compress the 2048 with the program you actually prefer (rar, zip whatever) and upload and post a link here.

Qimonda, the second largest DRAM company worldwide, has announced that they are mass producing XDR RAM modules for use in the PlayStation 3. An article on EDN.com is suggesting that Qimonda might be mass producing 512mb XDR RAM modules that they first showed off earlier this year. Current models of the Playstation 3 offer only 256mb of XDR RAM, which some gamers, industry analysts, and developers have complained about.
What many of those people don't understand is that the true power of the Playstation 3 doesn't lie in the memory, but in the eight-core architecture of the Cell processor. The Cell processor can handle a lot of physics objects because it's very math intensive, but struggles with memory intensive coding, which challenges developers to completely rework their game structure.

I wont explain the details here till the project is finished 100%, also cuz many devs want to take a look at first and not get it patched that fast. I can say that if all will work like I want it to you'll need:
- "special" game dump of the game you want to play from HDD
- one (any) original bd game
- 2x minimum 60GB HDD's (illegal way - it worx but its not allowed in most countrys - its working like a packed game on psp memory stick)
OR
-1 60GB HDD + original disc (legal way - no need to be inserted while playing)
Im using newest firmware PAL 60GB SKU. 3 games tested yet - working.
Games which should be possible from the knowledge i got yet:
- Warhawk
- MotorstormMore »
