To quote: My PS3 now boasts six (6) fully functional USB ports, the original four in front, and two (2) in the rear. We used the facilities of Dominion Lasercom's R&D lab for our work location as this is a seriously complex (and frightening) mod.

Basically what we've done is cut the data path from the internal USB controller chip on the PS3 to the #4 USB port (the one closest to the center).
We then wired the upstream connection on the "external" hub to the PS3's data output on those traces... More »

Here it is a new simple plug-in I did for my use. It's name is Charge Control. It's a plug-in which will let you to disable / enable the ability of the PSP of charging your battery: it's useful if you don't want to charge a half-charged battery, but that you don't want to completely drain or if you want to switch to and from the power line (for example in car) without making the PSP starting charging again even if completely charged pratically.
Download: Charge Control v0.1.0 Plug-In for PSP
You can control it with two simple combination L + R + VOL - to disable the charging function and L + R + VOL + to enable it again. Check the readme for more information and enjoy! :)
