7w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani has outlined everything fans need to know about Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag below, as follows:
Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is gearing up for launch on PS3 and PS4.
In anticipation of this momentous event, we've created a brand new trailer to deliver all the details you'll need in order to stride confidently in the daunting shoes of Captain Edward Kenway.
With compelling characters, an expansive world, and a near-infinite amount of pirate activities to engage in, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag is the largest and most immersive game in the Assassin's series.
Get to know Captain Edward Kenway and his host of fearsome pirate allies, like Charles Vane, Anne Bonny, Calico Jack, and Blackbeard. Take on pirate hunter Woodes Rogers, whose ruthlessness is surpassed only by his infamy as the bane of outlaw sailors.
Board the Jackdaw and meet Adéwalé, your talented Quartermaster. He'll ensure the Jackdaw sails true, and will even guide you in upgrading the ship, adding additional cannons, swivel guns, fire barrels, and even the ability to rain hell from the sky with explosive mortars.
Board any ship you please and press its crew into...
9w ago - FuturLab Managing Director James Marsden posted up a video today showcasing Velocity 2X on PS4 which outlines how the team leans from their audience of fellow gamers.
To quote: Hey folks. We had such a good time showcasing Velocity 2X at the Eurogamer Expo, we'd like to share our experience with you!
First of all, we managed to find the courage to jump on stage to talk about Velocity 2X in a Developer Session. For those who missed it, we talked about how we've approached making a PS Minis game desirable for PS4.
Velocity 2X takes everything that worked in Velocity Ultra and applies it to a side-scrolling platformer. That's right - in Velocity 2X you can get out of your ship to run around on foot.
You can also teledash through obstacles and throw a personal teleporter to reach high ledges and solve puzzles.
We've also revealed the new enemy in the series: the evil Vokh. They're massive, fast, and tricky to defeat because of their advanced shield technology. However, as you'll see from the video below, Kai's teledash creates a spacetime warp that disrupts their shield temporarily, allowing you to get some cheeky shots from behind! Watch some pre-alpha platforming gameplay here:

13w ago - Sony Community Manager James Spafford shared details today on building your own papercraft world in Tearaway on PlayStation Vita.
To quote: Tearaway is a game set in a papery world, which means that if you wanted to, you could craft the entire game from paper in the real world - and that's exactly what we hope people will do!
To help you along your way, we've filled the game will collectible papercraft plans, which you can unlock as you journey through the world.
As you play, you'll come across creatures, plants or objects that appear to be drained of their colour. Taking a picture of them with your character's in-game camera restores their colour, and unlocks their plan.
Each plan has various different skins - blank ones, or colorful ones, so you can either make something that looks like it does in the game, or customise them to look completely different and unique to you.
The plans will be accessed on our community website, where you'll find everything you've unlocked so far, and from here you'll be able to print them out, make them, and fill your house with papercraft!
The journey doesn't end there though. Once you've made your papercraft model, you can upload a picture of your creation to the website to share it with the...
