Uberjack has updated his MSX series emulator for PSP, which supports both MSX and MSX2 cartridge files.
New Features: v3.3.25
This update adds the ability to write changes to (uncompressed) disk images (see section on Disk Writing in the documentation for details and warnings)
There are two versions of Sony's upcoming real driving simulator Gran Turismo 5 Prologue here at the 2007 Leipzig Games Convention, though it's probably fairer to call them slightly different aspects of the same game. In fact, if you want to be entirely accurate, you could say that there are actually three versions of the Gran Turismo series, if you count the downloadable Gran Turismo demo that's currently available on the PlayStation Network. Nonetheless, as we were roaming the massive Sony space in Hall 3 of the Leipziger Messe in search of all things Gran Turismo, our focus was on the two versions of Prologue.
The first version featured eight racing cabinets set up to show off the game in the way a game like this is supposed to be played: with racing seats (which proved to be nearly too narrow for our frame), a full HD screen, and a Logitech wheel-and-pedal setup. The featured track was Japan's Suzuka circuit, and the game presented us with a roster of 22 cars to choos... More »
Update #3: All accounts should be fixed now, so give it a whirl people and if anyone still has a login issue feel free to use the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. Also, don't be afraid to use the Submit a New Story tab above to share anything you deem as interesting.
Update #2: We now have the original (Forum) accounts working with the Portal, so that you can use your existing one to login and then submit news or comments. For the first 100 people or so (who re-registered with the new Portal) we are still working on fixing your accounts so you can login with the new system... Thanks for your patience guys! :)
Update: Ignore what is below for now.. we are completing the integration so that you will only need to use your existing Forum account to access the Portal to Submit news, comments, etc. This should be done by later today- stay tuned... and if you can't login yet it is because we are doi... More »
Update: According to Sony, SonyStyle.com is shifting inventory from its retail stores to the site to meet web demand.
Sony elaborated on previous comments made about 60GB PS3 inventory stock on Wednesday, confirming that only retail supply of the $499 machine remains and suggesting that the expected 80GB price drop is imminent.
80GB PS3 bundle to drop to $499? We no longer have any inventory in SCEA warehouses. All inventory has been purchased and shipped to retailers, Sony's Dave Karraker said in an email.
We don't have visibility as to if that is on their store shelves or in their warehouses at this time. However, based on inventory reports from our retailers, there is ample supply still left in the channel.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that Sony's online inventory had been fully depleted. In July, after slashing the PS3 price by $100, the company said that the now discontinued 60GB PS3 would be available for several months... More »
Auraomega released v1.1 linked below, with the following updates:
Just updated slightly, now upon bootup there is no text, simply press the left shoulder button to enable. You can then disable by pressing the right shoulder button, should clear up some issues.
You now need ms0:/seplugins/XMB.txt. Inside this file you should type the full path to extra plugins. Up to 5 plugins can be loaded at a
time, see the XMB.txt file for an example.
For the next update I'll add a small config file so you can change the order of the date etc.
The new PSP is a slimmer, lighter version of the original, with a few new features. The system plays the exact same games, but now it has a video output port that lets you connect the PSP to an external display, such as an HDTV, for big-screen playback. The system also has a simplified UMD loading tray, 32MB more system memory, lower power consumption, a smaller battery, and can now charge via USB. The new PSP will replace the current system this September. Systems will be available in Piano Black, Ice Silver, and Ceramic White. They'll come in various retail packages with a variety of bundle options that include pack-in games, UMD movies, memory sticks, and, in the case of the white PSP, a Darth Vader silk-screened battery cover.
The Ice Silver PSP will ship with the Daxter PSP Entertainment Pack.
While it was nice to check out the new PSP's redesigned features at E3, what we really wanted to do was pull out a few games and test how the new portable handles ... More »
Notice: u should use the uncompress prx, if u download a theme with compressed modules, u have to decompress it, so that cxmb could recognize them.
Notice2: use ms0:/cxmb/vsh/module/ (see? not *nodule*) for prx files and ms0:/cxmb/vsh/resource/ for rco files
Notice3: ms0:/cxmb/font/ for fonts, but actually it may cause ur browser some problem, and DO NOT put jpn0.pgf/kr0.pgf/gb3s1518.bwfon/ltn4.pgf here, it would bring u some unknown problems. ^-..-^
