SCEE has now implemented their own PSN integration with EU.PlayStation.com, and based on community feedback thus far it actually appears better than the US version.
To quote: "My PlayStation Network" allows PS3 owners to login with their PSN ID and create a basic "Portable ID". While this is pretty bare right now, with only the ability to set your current mood, favorite game and change your background theme, the site promises that more features will be coming.
This includes online Trophy comparisons, a much-requested feature ever since they were first announced during the Summer. My PlayStation Network also lets you check your friends list and is much more user friendly that the US version, which splits your friends list into pages.
After the secret source code for its then-unreleased shooter Half Life 2 showed up on file sharing services in 2003, game-maker Valve Software cooked up an elaborate ruse with the FBI targeting the German hacker suspected in the leak, even setting up a fake job interview in an effort to lure him to the United States for arrest.
The gambit ultimately failed, and Axel "Ago" Gembe remained safely in Germany. He was indicted last month in Los Angeles on new charges of creating the Agobot malware, and sharing it with a crew of U.S. hackers who used it to stage denial-of-service attacks in 2003.
In September 2003, the source code for the much-anticipated Half Life 2 game turned up online, and Valve's managing director, Gabe Newell, revealed that the company's network had been breached. Back in September, it was ruled that an indexing Web site operated legally as it didn't host copyrighted material and linking to infringing material is permitted under Spanish law.
Now it appears as if this notion has gained extra support as a court has decided that a torrent site which was previously shut down by authorities actually operated legally.
To quote: In July 2007 we reported on the case of TodoTorrente.com, one of Spain’s largest BitTorrent sites. After a year long investigation by Spain’s Anti-Piracy Federation, an announcement was made by the Directorate of Police and Civil Guard - the site had been raided and closed by judicial order while the administrators arrested.

A picture (below) was released on the Internet yesterday of a retail copy of Far Cry 2. Many were skeptical on the legitimacy of the picture, but not too long afterwards more reports starting coming in that many Gamestop store managers have received copies of the game.
Whether this is an actual broken release, date or just a manager being a bit cocky is still unclear. It wouldn’t be a bad idea though to check your local retail stores tomorrow to see if you can sneak a copy out.
If that’s not enough now we have yet ANOTHER batch of reports indicating that Far Cry 2 has been leaked onto the Internet. Which console you may ask? Well the 360 of course!
The Xbox 360 has really been taking in a lot of early releases of games via torrents, and its quite ironic how these torrents are directed towards the 360 rather than the PC platform many developers consider to be a pirate jungle.

The eagerly anticipated Fallout 3 is nearly upon us, yet a full three weeks before its release rapacious pigs cracked the game and offered it via various torrent sites.
This is the third AAA title that has been hacked and cracked in as many months, leaving publishers frothing at the mouth as they consider even more draconian digital rights management.
To the casual observer this may seem like an overzealous response to retain the vast sea of greenbacks the industry seems to float upon. And that certainly is a concern, after all Electronic Arts is not motivated from a position of altruism. Sega's announced that the official Web site for Valkyria Chronicles is now live, however, there doesn't appear to be a link in the press release so HERE is the Sega product page instead.
Additionally, the PS3 RPG's demo will be released on October 9th, with the full game available on November 14, 2008.
