Warframe PS4 Update: New Challenges and New Weapons Detailed

50°
7w ago - Digital Extremes Associate Producer Pat Kudirka is here with a new Warframe PS4 update which features new challenges and new weapons detailed below.

To quote: It's update time, Tenno, and you know what that means - more features and content coming to your favorite space ninja game! We know you've been patiently waiting, and today the wait is over.

Update 13.7 will be available today and here's a rundown of what the team has been doing in Warframe on PS4.

A lot has changed in Warframe in just a few short months, and we know it can be hard to keep track of all the changes. So just in case you haven't been around since Update 13, here's a quick recap as to some of the major changes you may have missed, plus what's coming today in 13.7.

Dark Sectors

Tenno have been pitting their resources against fellow Tenno in a bid to control new uncharted areas of space filled with bonus experience and boosted resources. By working together as a Clan or in an Alliance, players can construct a Solar Rail to gain access to these Dark Sectors.

The Clan who controls the Sector can reap certain benefits, so pick a side and prepare to defend your Solar Rail from any Tenno who would sabotage your control.

Videos: Dressed to Kill: Destiny's Weapons and Armor on PS4

50°
16w ago - Sony Social Media Senior Manager Sid Shuman posted up some videos today spotlighting Destiny's weapons and armor on PS4 dubbed Dressed to Kill below.

To quote: Last week, I shared my first PS4 hands-on experiences with Destiny, Bungie's ambitious social shooter.

In today's new video, weapons, armor, and loot are squarely in the crosshairs as lead designer Lars Bakken and community manager David Dague walk us through [Register or Login to view links]'s plans for galactic domination.

Destiny's arsenal is vast and varied: fire-spewing shotguns and head-melting fusion rifles coexist beside traditional pistols and rifles. Weapons span three broad categories: Primary (autorifles and hand cannons), Special (shotguns and sniper rifles), and Heavy (rockets and belt-fed machineguns).

There's plenty of variety within each category, too. The autorifle sub-category includes burst-fire pulse rifles, single-shot carbines, and an array of full-auto assault rifles that prove murderously effective at close range.

Despite the sprawling arsenal, Bungie's designers are taking pains...

Warframe on PS4: Update 12 Adds New Warframe, Weapons, Mode

50°
25w ago - Digital Extremes Associate Producer Pat Kudirka announced today that the latest Warframe Update 12 on PS4 adds new Warframe weapons and modes on PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: It's been a long time coming, but Update 12 is here! The Warframe team is extremely (dare I say Digital Extremely...*crickets*) excited to not only bring Update 12 to our existing PS4 players, but also to our newly added Warframe fans in Japan.

They just got a taste on their Day 1 launch. This is another big update that includes a new Warframe, new weapons, a new game mode, and my personal favorite; a badass new HUD!

Zephyr: The Air-Based Warframe

For Update 12, we really wanted to introduce a Warframe like no other, and we believe we accomplished that with Zephyr, the air-based Warframe. Lighter than all other Warframes, Zephyr uses this to her advantage to increase her mobility, but also to complement her vicious attacks.

New HUD

Now I know sometimes it's hard to adapt to change, but bear with me here. Our new, stylized, in-game HUD is something every Tenno will enjoy. This HUD is less obtrusive, contains more information for the player and their squad, and we offer a handful of new customizable options to tinker with.
