To quote: Happy Canada Day! Today we are pleased to extend the PlayStation Network video delivery service to our friends and neighbors in Canada!

You've been loud and clear about wanting this service in Canada, and starting today, you can check it out on PlayStation Store on the PS3 or PSP.

As an added bonus, people who visit the Canadian video store between July 1 - July 14 will receive an email with a code for a free SD copy of Charlie's Angels (This offer is valid in CANADA ONLY). Enjoy!
 

Disney Pixar's Up Joins the PSN Video Delivery Service Tomorrow

232w ago - Today PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has revealed that Disney's selection on PSN is way 'Up', meaning that Disney Pixar's Up will indeed be available tomorrow on the PSN Video Delivery Service.

To quote: Starting tomorrow, November 10, you can purchase Disney Pixar's Up from the PlayStation Network video delivery service – the same day it's released on Blu-ray and DVD. The movie is available to own for $14.99 in standard-definition and $19.99 in high-definition.

Up is among nearly 80 full-length Disney feature films which we will be adding to the video store to purchase over the next couple of days, including 60 in high-definition, such as Disney Pixar's A Bug's Life, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E and Monsters, Inc.

Many of these Disney favorites are also already available for rent, with prices ranging from $2.99 to $5.99.

If you haven't tried the video delivery service before, there's never been a better time. There are over 2,400 full-length movies and 15,000 television episodes to choose from including new and favorite movies, television shows, sports, anime, original entertainment, and more.

To quote: This week we're excited to report the launch of several new partners on PlayStation Network that offer even more downloadable entertainment and sports from PlayStation Store.

Lucasfilm Ltd. presents Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a CGI animated TV series set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy. And for you baseball fans, we've just launched MLB content - the current 2009 World Series featuring the Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Yankees (in case you've missed any of the games so far), and also a section with classic games.

Our new partnership with Image Entertainment, Inc. brings us feature films like Powder Blue and Management, MPI Media Group brings us classics like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, ContentFilm International brings us movies like Hurly Burly and Interstate 60 and finally, New Video brings us Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. PlayStation Network Extends Its Video Delivery Service to PSP

255w ago - PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has announced news today that PlayStation Network is extending its Video Delivery Service to the PSP console, as follows:

Beginning today, you can download standard definition movies and tv shows directly to your PSP through PlayStation Network video delivery service.

You can still transfer programs to your PSP via the PS3 or from your PC via Media Go. But now, by accessing the video store directly on your PSP, it's easier than ever to take your favorite entertainment with you on the go.





We're also excited to release a variety of shows from partners such as Showtime Networks, Starz, G4 & E!, Summit Entertainment, The Weinstein Company, HDnet & Magnolia Pictures, Anime Network, Media Blasters, Right Stuf's Nozomi Entertainment, Starz Media's Manga Entertainment, Toei Animation, Viz Media, WEP, UFC, TNA and Video Action Sports - increasing PlayStation Store's library to more than 1900 movies and 9400 TV episodes.
