35w ago - SCE Worldwide Studios Art Director Gavin Moore has shared a new Puppeteer PlayStation 3 trailer from Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2012 today!

To quote: Hi guys, back again to give you an update on Puppeteer.

First off, please let me thank you all for your wonderful, supportive comments after our announcement at Gamescom last month. It's dedicated PlayStation fans like you that make the incredible amount of hard work that goes into making games worthwhile.

You never know what reaction you will get from your work, and it seems that Puppeteer has hit the right nerve with gamers. So, when I got back from Germany, I started getting ready for Tokyo Game Show.

We aren't showing a playable demo on the show floor, but I have put together another trailer for the show. This one is longer and shows a little bit more of the story, without giving too much away and ruining it for you all. Have a look up above.

We are currently casting in London for the voice actors, so I apologize for the voices in the trailer. It's a little embarrassing because all of the voices are done by me, apart from the narrator.

Actually, I am thinking of doing the Witch's voice...

88w ago - Recently Sony's Shuhei Yoshida confirmed that PlayStation Vita will be region-free, and over the weekend GameSpot (linked above) did an interview with him discussing PS Vita's US / EU launch slated for early next year.

Previously, we reported that PS Vita is scheduled to hit Japan on December 17, 2011.

To quote: "Currently, with the PlayStation 3 and PSP, physical media is released region-free, allowing games published in one country to be played without hassle in another.

However, Sony's digital strategy restricts content to the region in which it is released, with access being determined by the region of a user's PlayStation Network profile.

As announced earlier this week, the PS Vita will launch alongside 26 games in Japan on December 17. Sony expects to release its newest gaming hardware in Europe and North America sometime in early 2012."

For those curious, the PS Vita title includes a touch-screen control feature with motion sensitive controls. In addition, aiming can be motion controlled.

88w ago - Last month news of PS3 / PS Vita Connectivity leaked out, and today Japanese site 4Gamer.net (linked above) has made available some video footage of Killzone 3 and LittleBigPlanet 2 using PlayStation Vita with PS3 Remote Play at TGS 2011.

Additionally, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida has also confirmed via Twitter that PS Vita will be region-free.
