Sony Details Tearaway Community Site for PlayStation Vita Users

50°
45w ago - Sony Community Manager James Spafford shared details today on the Tearaway Community Site for PlayStation Vita users below.

To quote: Hi everyone! I'm back with the second video in our series, taking a look at Tearaway and the things that we think make it special (the first came out last week).

This new video is all about the paper Tearaway is made from, and the papercraft models that you'll be able to make once the it comes out.

It also details tearaway.me, which will be the community site for the game where all your in-game photos and papercraft plans will be stored and shared from. The site isn't live yet, but it will be soon, so watch that space!

You can pre-order Tearaway now directly from PlayStation.Store, with both the Jukebox and Special Delivery options available, allowing you to choose from a great selection of pre-order bonuses, including a special skin for the rideable pig (and papercaft plan to match), the soundtrack, and even some special Messenger costumes for Sackboy!

Tearaway launches on November 22nd. So soon!

250°
86w ago - Today Sony PlayStation Public Relations Manager Aram Jabbari has officially announced that the God of War: Ascension PS3 Multiplayer Beta is open to all PSN users.

Below are the details, to quote: You've likely read or seen the many posts over the past month regarding the God of War: Ascension Multiplayer Beta.

At first it was available only to participants of the "Rise of the Warrior" experience on the God of War [Register or Login to view links] (which is now relaunched, new and improved, and ready to dole out even more extras for series fans).

Then it was only accessible to PlayStation Plus members (as if they needed any more exclusive content, what with their free Instant Game Collection and countless discounts).

Now, we're excited to announce that we're opening up the Ascension MP Beta to all PlayStation Network users for a very limited time. Starting now and lasting through the holiday weekend--provided you've got a PlayStation 3 and a valid North American PlayStation Network account- you're in!

Think of it as a sampling- nay, a slice- of the benefits and rewards showered upon PlayStation Plus members month after month. Wish you could have played the Beta for longer than a few days? Wish you could get more first looks...
