4w ago - Today Sony updated their PlayStation 4 / PS4 Software Usage Terms (ToS - Terms of Service) in preparation for the arrival of their next-generation video gaming console later this month.
Sony has added the Software Usage Terms for the new upcoming PlayStation 4 console, but they also apply to all the PlayStation systems with the following changes:
7.1. You must not resell either Disc-based Software or Software Downloads, unless expressly authorized by us and, if the publisher is another company, additionally by the publisher. Sony also reminds you that all the Software is "Licensed", and that you "do not acquire ownership" of it:

4.1. All Software is licensed, not sold, which means you acquire rights to use the Software, as described in these Terms, but you do not acquire ownership of the Software. To quote from PlayStationLifeStyle.net (linked above): "In this satirical advisory banner by Kotaku, the editors are illustrating in a humorous manner of incorrect and correct techniques and methods to use the PS3 motion control device.
Going as far as even adding fine print advising gamers to "please use the wooden stake or silver dagger accessory sleeves for the PlayStation Move controller when confronted by a dracula during game play".
While the instructional banner is not exactly instruction, or even informative for that matter, it is sure to provide a good laugh for anyone regardless of whether or not they are planning to invest in the controller.
292w ago - Are you using your PS3 for Blu-ray movies? A new study shows that yes, in fact, you are. Blu-ray usage is on the rise amongst PS3 owners, according to Warner Home Video's research.
It seems that between the last quarter of 2007 and the end of February saw a usage increase of the PS3 as a Blu-ray player from 53% to 80%. In addition to this, after Sony's ad campaign pushing Blu-ray, disc sales rose from 10% to 15% between October and December of 2007.
Take it as you will, but the PS3 is definitely paving the road for Blu-ray and we hope you get more out of your system than merely playing games!
