To quote: It's hard to believe it's been nearly a whole year since UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves was released!

156w ago - Today NaughtyDog has announced that new Uncharted 2: Among Thieves PSN Avatars will be released on the US PlayStation Store tomorrow for $0.49 each or $1.49 for five.

Pricing for other stores have not yet been announced, however, it is expected to be similar.

To quote: "Not too long ago we submitted a set of PSN Avatars to supplement the few existing UNCHARTED ones that have been available for quite some time.

We've just gotten word that the first of hopefully several sets of PSN Avatars has been approved for deployment on the PSN Store on Tuesday, May 25.

The PSN Avatars were created from renders we made from UNCHARTED 2 and include Nathan Drake, Elena Fisher, Victor Sullivan, Chloe Frazer, Jeff, Tenzin, Karl Schafer, Zoran Lazarevic, Harry Flynn, and an image of the Phurba dagger.

The Avatars will be available for $0.49 each or in two bundles of 5 Avatars for $1.49 per bundle. The bundle options that the PSN Team has created turns out to be a pretty good deal, adding up to a savings of nearly $1 compared to purchasing 5 avatars separately.

I only have US pricing at the moment, but the pricing in other regions will be similar to that of existing Avatars already available on the PSN Store."

160w ago - Sony's Product Marketing Specialist Mick Perona has shared a sneak peek today at the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for PS3 art.

To quote: As you may have seen on NaughtyDog.com, the developers of the 2009 smash hit Uncharted 2 have released details around the upcoming art book, The Art of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from Ballistic Publishing.

As described in Naughty Dog's post, the Limited Folio edition is available in only 200 printed copies, but includes elite extra details beyond the standard paperback and the leather-bound Special Edition.

The Limited Folio Edition of the art book is bound in black suede leather with gold-embossed cover art, and a matching hand-crafted, black suede leather-bound presentation case with a ribbon.

Also included is a certificate of authenticity that have been individually numbered and hand signed by Evan, Amy, Robh and Erick. Each book is 272 pages and contains over 180 pages of concept art, and over 80 pages of production art and character models.

All three editions will be available this month and can still be pre-ordered...

170w ago - While Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will receive the 1.05 update today, SCEE European Product Manager Richard Yap has unveiled news of new PS3 DLC also set to arrive on February 25, 2010.

To quote: As you may have heard, I'm pleased to announce that we have another great piece of downloadable content coming to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

This time you get the chance to revisit locations from Nathan Drake's debut adventure and enjoy multiplayer battles in the Sub Facility and the Flooded Ruins. In addition to the two classic maps, the pack also includes six character skins from the first game.

178w ago - Naughty Dog's Senior Manager of Marketing Communications Arne Meyer has announced that an Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Title Update #3 v1.03 for PS3 will be available today as a mandatory download, as follows:

Today, Friday, December 18, 2009, at 10:00 AM PST (what time is it in my city?) you will be required to download an update to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Below is a list of what is different:

• Added Version number to game menu - should display 1.03 after this update
• Added Clan Tags - all players can now add a custom four letter Clan Tag in the Profile Menu (square) to display on-screen before their PSN ID
• Load times have been decreased significantly
• Added "Rematch" functionality
• Adjusted some Boosters for balance
• Addressed issue with Player's Met screen in game menu and XMB displaying incorrectly
• Addressed issue with Double Cash not doubling medal cash rewards

We've also made a slew of other changes to improve player experience.
