To quote: It's hard to believe it's been nearly a whole year since UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves was released!

160w ago - Sony's Product Marketing Specialist Mick Perona has shared a sneak peek today at the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for PS3 art.

To quote: As you may have seen on NaughtyDog.com, the developers of the 2009 smash hit Uncharted 2 have released details around the upcoming art book, The Art of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from Ballistic Publishing.

As described in Naughty Dog's post, the Limited Folio edition is available in only 200 printed copies, but includes elite extra details beyond the standard paperback and the leather-bound Special Edition.

The Limited Folio Edition of the art book is bound in black suede leather with gold-embossed cover art, and a matching hand-crafted, black suede leather-bound presentation case with a ribbon.

Also included is a certificate of authenticity that have been individually numbered and hand signed by Evan, Amy, Robh and Erick. Each book is 272 pages and contains over 180 pages of concept art, and over 80 pages of production art and character models.

All three editions will be available this month and can still be pre-ordered...

170w ago - While Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will receive the 1.05 update today, SCEE European Product Manager Richard Yap has unveiled news of new PS3 DLC also set to arrive on February 25, 2010.

To quote: As you may have heard, I'm pleased to announce that we have another great piece of downloadable content coming to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

This time you get the chance to revisit locations from Nathan Drake's debut adventure and enjoy multiplayer battles in the Sub Facility and the Flooded Ruins. In addition to the two classic maps, the pack also includes six character skins from the first game.

You can play as Drake, Elena, pirate leader Eddie, gun for hire Navarro, ruthless treasure hunter Roman or a Mercenary grunt! Check out the screenshots below.

179w ago - Naughty Dog's Senior Manager of Marketing Communications Arne Meyer has announced that an Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Title Update #3 v1.03 for PS3 will be available today as a mandatory download, as follows:

Today, Friday, December 18, 2009, at 10:00 AM PST (what time is it in my city?) you will be required to download an update to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Below is a list of what is different:

• Added Version number to game menu - should display 1.03 after this update
• Added Clan Tags - all players can now add a custom four letter Clan Tag in the Profile Menu (square) to display on-screen before their PSN ID
• Load times have been decreased significantly
• Added "Rematch" functionality
• Adjusted some Boosters for balance
• Addressed issue with Player's Met screen in game menu and XMB displaying incorrectly
• Addressed issue with Double Cash not doubling medal cash rewards

We've also made a slew of other changes to improve player experience.

187w ago - Naughty Dog is one of my favorite game making companies of all time. Creating great game series like Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and Uncharted, it's hard to compare them with any other game company with games like that in their arsenal.

Now Uncharted: Drakes fortune, is considered by many to be one of the best games ever released for the PlayStation 3; Often getting reviews in the 9.0's or 90's. Not only was it one of my favorite games, but also a favorite of the majority of people who reviewed it.

Fast forward to 2009, and you will see that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves not only beat its predecessor it completely destroyed it in nearly every single way. Don't get me wrong I love Uncharted: Drakes Fortune as if it's my long lost brother, but Uncharted 2 is like a soul mate... Okay that's a little over the top but you catch my drift, I love Uncharted 2 much more then the first.

In Uncharted 2 you will be dragged into a compelling storyline that will grip you until the very end with loads of great content and gameplay as you search for the lost city of Shambhala and it's treasure the Cintamani stone. You start off as the main character Nathan Drake (who you may recognize from the last game) who has a gun shot wound and is sitting in a train seat passed out.
