51w ago - Bethesda Softworks Global Community Lead Matt Grandstaff has shared a video and details today on Dishonored's Dunwall City Trials allowing fans to put their supernatural skills to the test alongside a Challenge Maps overview, as follows:
With Dishonored, the team at Arkane Studios let you decide what type of assassin you wanted to be - you could focus on stealth and remain in shadow, or simply leave a trail of blood across the game's missions.
However you played, by the game's end, you had become Dunwall's greatest assassin.
But how do you stack up about against the rest of the world?
In Dishonored's new DLC, Dunwall City Trials, all your skills will be tested across 10 challenge maps. Providing a challenge to all levels of players, these maps will require you to creatively combine your supernatural abilities, weapons and gadgets with well-timed stealth and agility tactics.
Read below for a quick overview of the Challenge Maps:
Assassin's Run: A true test for accomplished crossbow users, you'll need to quickly eliminate targets as you move through the level. Just be careful not to kill any civilians.

188w ago - Lead Designer Greg Rizzer has posted up some videos today of Dante's Inferno: Trials of St. Lucia PS3 DLC which will be hitting the PSN Store soon.
To quote: I'm really excited to launch this expansion pack for fans of Dante's Inferno.
The Trials of St. Lucia is a unique DLC package. First off, we are introducing an entirely new playable character: St. Lucia.
She has her own set of moves and features much more aerial style combat that Dante. Our character team did an amazing job with her. She looks amazing and adds new depth – also, I think her wings look amazing!
Second, we have added online cooperative play. The ability to be able to go online and fight hordes of creatures with a friend is really fun. I think the co-op feature is something that fans of this game genre will appreciate.
Also, with this new DLC, we're shipping an entire Trial creation editor! This is a cool and easy-to-use tool that will let you create your own Trials, play them, and even upload them to the community so other people can rate them and attempt to beat your master creation.
That's a lot of content for $10! But that's not all: In addition to those big features, we are also shipping 40 Trials that were created...
213w ago - While most companies are in the business of combating software piracy these days, RedLynx CEO Tero Virtala admitted that his company leaked a version of the PC motorcycle game Trials 2 on the same day that the game was commercially available.
However, the 'leaked' version did not include the online leaderboards which they believe is key to the title... so the plan was to get people hooked on the game, and then buy the full version with leaderboards included.
To quote: "Piracy is here, so how can we take advantage of that? What we did actually, on day one, we put that game immediately on all the torrent networks ourselves," revealed Virtala, during a panel discussion at Develop Liverpool yesterday.
"That game relies really heavily on the server side - the leaderboards are the soul of the game. I don't know if it's helped, I'd assume so because even though the version that we put on the torrent networks wasn't the full version, it's the version of the game without the actual soul, without the leaderboards to play against other players."
