Below are the details, to quote: Hello God of War fans! Sony Santa Monica is very excited to be teaming up with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to get you some exclusive hands-on time with God of War: Ascension on December 18th.
For a limited time, when you purchase the Director's Cut Total Recall Blu-ray and Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack you will receive the E3 2012 God of War: Ascension Single Player demo.
Both Blu-rays feature the Extended Directors Cut, which includes 20 minutes of new footage not shown in theaters, including an alternate ending and over 1.5 hours of special features and Blu-ray exclusive content.
The God of War: Ascension Single Player demo is available with this special offer on the Blu-ray hybrid disc.

217w ago - Creative Assembly has just announced that next week will see the release of their first major upgrade for the PC title Empire: Total War.
To quote: A number of crash glitches have been "solved", along with audio, save game and assassination fixes.
The AI has been improved in naval combat, and best of all, the AI can now attempt naval invasions of your territory. It is also reported that the upgrade will fix "over 70 bugs".
I have been enjoying Empire: Total War from the very first day it was released, but I am shocked to know that it had over "70 bugs" as I hardly noticed any... however, since they all are about to be fixed there's nothing to worry about.

WP: Empire Total War marks the first time that the Total War series has had really intricate naval battles. Why have them now?
KB: Well, it's a combination of factors. One, we've wanted to do it for a while but the technology was ready now. Two, it's the period that's right for it. When you add naval battles to the game, you have to do it when it's interesting, enjoyable, and fun. The 18th century was the absolute height of cool naval warfare. You had this global arms race across the world's oceans, bigger and bigger ships, more and more cannons, specialized naval abilities for long-range ships and short-range boarding crews. It was a really cool and interesting period in which to add the naval combat to make it a very real and integral feature for Empire. From that perspective, it was the choice of...
