Pixelopus Reveals Entwined Soars to PS3 and PS Vita Today

50°
1w ago - Pixelopus Creative Director Dominic Robilliard revealed that Entwined soars to both PS3 and PS Vita platforms today with details below.

To quote: Hi, Dom here. A few weeks ago in our look back at Entwined, we mentioned that we were hard at work on the PS3 and Vita versions of the game. Well, we're thrilled to say that Entwined is available on PS3 and PS Vita today!

We're very proud of both the PS3 and PS Vita entries and have put a lot of love and care into them. They both contain all of the content found in the PS4 version, and because they are cross buy it means that if you already bought the PS4 version you will have immediate access to the other two versions for free!

Not only that, but Entwined is also cross save, meaning that you can play while away from home on Vita and your progress will automatically update on your PS3/ PS4 versions of the game.

We wanted to thank all of the gamers who have already got hold of Entwined and given such wonderful feedback about their experiences with the game.

And that's all for now! Thank you once again for all the amazing support, and if you want to stay up to date with Pixelopus and what we get up to next, please follow us on Twitter at [Register or Login to view links].

Sony Announces Killzone Shadow Fall: 2 Free New Maps Out Today

50°
1w ago - Sony Community Editor Victor Zuylen announced that two new Shadow Fall PS4 free maps are available today with details below.

To quote: Today sees the arrival of The Terminal and Stormgracht, two freely downloadable multiplayer maps for Killzone Shadow Fall.

The Terminal is situated inside the Wall on the New Helghan side while Stormgracht is set in the toxic industrial area of the planet.

The Terminal

Set inside the vast partition wall on the New Helghan side of No Man's Land, The Terminal is not the kind of station you would ever wish to find yourself in. Part defense facility, part prison complex, this foreboding place is linked by a series of rail systems, through which the trains run relentlessly at breakneck speed.

On one side of the station lies the armory control center, from where the entire station's defenses are monitored. Nearby, huge automated AA guns watch constantly over the bridge that leads to the Vektan side of the city.

On the other, a series of grim and foreboding holding cells await the unfortunate detainees who arrive at the outside platform. Here, their goods and personal effects are stripped from them and dumped carelessly before they are either imprisoned or taken for further "questioning".

Atlus Announces Abyss Odyssey PS3 is Out Today on PlayStation 3

50°
2w ago - Atlus PR Manager John Hardin announced that Abyss Odyssey PS3 is officially out today on PlayStation 3 with details below.

To quote: ACE Team and ATLUS are back again with the procedurally generated adventure game with fighting game elements (EVO shoutout!), available today on PlayStation Store.

The look of the game all draws from an incredible combination of Art Nouveau and Chilean folklore, which is where many of the awesome enemies come from.

Speaking of awesome enemies, most of them have full movesets - meaning that every time you face an enemy, your combat strategy might change. And you'll have to be mindful of that, since the three main characters, Katrien, Ghost Monk, and Pincoya, will have to earn their skills through combat.

These skills can only be changed at certain points in the procedurally created abyss, so there's plenty of strategy to work around.

Another strategy, and a personal favorite of mine, is capturing the souls of fallen enemies. Assuming your experience level is high enough (it doesn't reset if you die), you can use your ultra attack to capture the very soul of the enemy and then use it to take their form in combat.

Which actually is a viable strategy at higher experience levels, since it essentially provides you with...

Namco Announces One Piece Unlimited World Red Out Today on PS3

50°
3w ago - Bandai Namco Games America Inc Associate PR Specialist Grace Liu announced that One Piece Unlimited World Red is out today on PS3.

Below are the details, to quote: Yo ho ho! It's time to join the rambunctious Straw Hat Pirates on their grand adventures in One Piece Unlimited World Red on PS3. PS Vita owners can look forward to a portable version next week!

In Unlimited World Red, you'll encounter two new faces in the One Piece saga - Pato, a sassy raccoon-dog who befriends the Straw Hat Crew, and The Red Count, a frighteningly powerful pirate with a malicious agenda.

One Piece fans will be pleased to know that both these characters were created by Eiichiro Oda, the legendary author of One Piece. Will they have mysterious powers? Check. Strong personalities? Check. Quirky laugh? Nukiki!

But what's a pirate life without crewmates? Take on the adventure in local co-op play to explore the vibrant islands and engage in flashy battles with trusty friends at your side.

Enter the Battle Coliseum, a bone-crushing new mode that was not included in last year's original Japanese release. Based on the most up-to-date story arc in the manga and anime series, Battle Coliseum Mode will let you choose from many powerful pirates and marines to duke it out in the arena.
