2w ago - Black Forest Games Community Manager Dietrich Limper announced that Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream arrives on PSN this month.
Below are the details, to quote: Hello everybody! The screenshot you can see above is from Giana Sisters: Twisted Dream, coming to PlayStation 3 later this month.
It was developed here at our relatively new development studio Black Forest Games. It was also completed with the help of Kickstarter backers, who donated enough money to finish the project. Black Forest Games was the first German independent developer who managed to successfully run such a campaign!
Now you might say, "Black Forest Games? Never heard of that company!" No problem! Let me introduce you to our fine little organization.
Once upon a time there was a game studio called Spellbound Entertainment who created successful titles like Desperados, Airline Tycoon and Robin Hood - just to name a few.
Unfortunately the company went under in 2011 and had to close its doors - a rather sad end of an era. After the dust settled, the core Spellbound team gathered strength and founded Black Forest Games, bringing with them as many team members as they could.
They opened the office doors again in 2012 in the small town...
18w ago - Quirkat Designer / Producer Candide Kirk has confirmed that Pro Foosball kicks off on PlayStation 3 this month.
To quote: A foosball table is one of those things that I've always wanted to own at home, but it's almost never practical enough to do so! Which is why we thought we'd bring the same level of fun and excitement right to your TV screens with the release of our Pro Foosball game on the PlayStation Network on 20th February, priced €3.99/£3.19!
Pro Foosball has been built to completely and realistically bring the foosball experience to your home. From accurate table physics to a competitive atmosphere with friends, we've included it all in the game, along with great environments to play in!
Pro Foosball allows you to compete across three modes of play. You can have a quick match with your friends in Kick About with up to four players in local multiplayer mode, challenge yourself to beat our skilled AI with three difficulty levels in Foos Championship, or have fun with our crazy table features such as no edges and bumpy surface in Foos Madness.
Pro Foosball is primarily designed to be played using the PlayStation Move controllers to mimic the real foosball table's rods.
19w ago - Zen Studios Managing Director Zsolt Kigyossy has shared a video trailer today announcing that Star Wars Pinball launches on PS3 and PS Vita this month.
To quote: Zen Studios has been making pinball games for nearly a decade now, and today is one of the most exciting pinball moments for our studio! We are extremely excited to announce that Star Wars is coming to Zen Pinball 2!
Zen Studios has been working closely with LucasArts to create an amazing collection of videogame pinball tables set in a galaxy far, far away!
The first pack of tables include Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Beyond these exciting tables, there are seven others in production as we speak, all to be revealed as 2013 unfolds.
Each table features a different iconic moment from the Star Wars universe, with interactive 3D characters and unique gameplay. If you have not yet downloaded Zen Pinball 2, it is pretty easy to do.
The free download will give you access to a great library of pinball content, where you can download demos for each table and pick which you'd like to buy. All content is cross-buy entitled on PS3 and PS Vita.
40w ago - SEGA Digital Campaigns Manager Mike Kebby has shared some video footage today of Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit which will be hitting PlayStation Plus next month.
To quote: It's been some months since we first announced the latest digital title welcomed into the SEGA family, Hell Yeah!
Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and I thought it was finally time to visit the PlayStation Blog and reveal more about our exciting* new game.
*Exciting can also be taken to mean: insanely creative, off-the-wall, bonkers, delirium inducing, and as many other unnecessary descriptive phrases as I can muster
Hell Yeah! puts you in control of Ash, a devil rabbit and the prince of Hell. In a storyline that I'm sure most blog readers will empathise with (well, maybe), Ash is the victim of a vicious smear campaign, as somebody posts sordid bath-time images of him up on the 'Hell-ternet'.
So, at its core, Hell Yeah! is a tale of revenge - a story of the little-man standing up for himself. That this little-man is in fact a devil rabbit, and the prince of Hell, just gives it a little more edge. In fact, Ash wants to ensure that everybody who has seen the photos suffers, which is where you step in.
As you can see from the above below, Ash does have...

I hope you'll all join me in wishing him well in all his future endeavours - we'll miss having him around! Ross 2.0 will be along soon enough, but in the meantime I've stepped into the breach and will be keeping you informed of the latest updates to your Plus service.
