When the folks in the Disney Interactive booth picked up the controller to give us a once through in this land of make believe at the German Games Convention, we got to see one of the battles for control that raged in the children's absence and how the three-character co-op game will perform.
As magical creatures waged war against a human invasion outside a castle, the majority of our demo came from the perspective of a dwarf and a minotaur as they ran through the battle doing their part to get a W in their column.

Update #2: We now have the original (Forum) accounts working with the Portal, so that you can use your existing one to login and then submit news or comments. Need for Speed Pro Street officially locked down its street date today. The game is gearing up for an Oct. 31 release in the United States and Nov. 1 in Europe.
In a first for the Need for Speed series, Pro Street allows players to build their own cars and then take them around the world to compete in multidisciplinary races.
The game is being released for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii, DS and mobile devices.

For anyone who may be interested, the site has been in business for 7 years (going on 8 yrs) and is currently earning between $40-50k+ per month in total sales volume. Konami managed to pump out the first four Silent Hill games in five years, so what the hell is taking Silent Hill 5 so long? Discounting the critically mixed movie by Brotherhood of the Wolf director Christophe Gans (who isn't coming back for the proposed sequel), it's been a whopping four years since gamers have entered the town of Silent Hill, but that's about to change next fall with Silent Hill 5.

Update: According to Sony, SonyStyle.com is shifting inventory from its retail stores to the site to meet web demand.
Sony elaborated on previous comments made about 60GB PS3 inventory stock on Wednesday, confirming that only retail supply of the $499 machine remains and suggesting that the expected 80GB price drop is imminent.
80GB PS3 bundle to drop to $499? We no longer have any inventory in SCEA warehouses. All inventory has been purchased and shipped to retailers, Sony's Dave Karraker said in an email.
We don't have visibility as to if that is on their store shelves or in their warehouses at this time. However, based on inventory reports from our retailers, there is ample supply still left in the channel.

Just recently a petition was started for Sega to include On-line play in the PS3 version of Virtua Fighter 5. Not only has it been stated my Sega employees that it can be done, it has been done with other games such as Motorstorm Japan and Tekken: Dark Resurrection please sign the petition and let it be known that you find it unfair that Xbox 360 owners are being treated better in terms of the feature being standard for their game.
