204w ago - IGN has made available a debut trailer video for the upcoming PSN exclusive title The Punisher: No Mercy today.

For those wondering, this title under development from Zen Studios utilizes the Unreal Engine, and is slated for a PlayStation 3 release on July 2, 2009.

The game will be an arena based first-person shooter, with the first four arenas available at launch including New York, docks and factories. The player will only be able to carry three weapons at a time to convey a sense of realism.

The story mode will consist of four matches played on different maps with different game types. Before playing, players will be required to select a mod which will advantage the player.

The game will include a multiplayer and online play, which will contain deathmatch, one vs many and co-op.




The player will not be able to drive vehicles, however, there will be a total of eight playable characters, each with their own unique abilities.

235w ago - Back in September, The Punisher: No Mercy was announced for PSN. Yes, this first person shooter will exclusively hit the PlayStation Network as a downloadable title.

Not too much is known about the game, but GameTrailers has debuted the first ever PlayStation 3 footage of the game in action.
