New on PlayStation Store: Dying Light, Grim Fandango Remastered

1d ago - Sony's Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN Game Store updates, which include Dying Light, Grim Fandango Remastered and Life is Strange!

Below are the details, to quote: First up this week, first-person action survival game Dying Light.

Roam a city devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help defeat the hordes of flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created. At night, beware the Infected as they grow in strength and even more lethal nocturnal predators leave their nests...

Elsewhere, one of the most acclaimed adventure games of all time is back! Grim Fandango's epic story of four years in the life (or death) of Manny Calavera, travel agent to the dead, has been remastered to look, sound, and control better than ever.

Also out this week, episodic adventure game Life is Strange, rhythmic-puzzler Magical Beat and new costumes for LittleBigPlanet 3 based on some rather elusive creatures.

Grim Fandango Remastered Now Available for Pre-order on PS4

2w ago - Double Fine Productions' Greg Rice announced today that Grim Fandango Remastered is now available for pre-order on PS4 from the PSN Store!

To quote: We never thought the day would come, but in just two weeks on January 27th Grim Fandango will once again be available to play, 16 years after its original release.

And as of [Register or Login to view links], you can pay to secure your copy of Grim Fandango Remastered! Grim Fandango is a cross buy title for $14.99 and sports a new PS4 dynamic theme as a pre-order bonus.

With updated graphics, a new live orchestral soundtrack, additional control schemes, developer commentary, and more, fans and newcomers alike will be able to experience the game with a whole new layer of polish and love, straight from the folks who developed the original game. Or they can always flip to the original art and tank controls and party like it's 1998.

To mark the occasion, we have a brand new entry in the documentary series from 2 Player Productions covering the remastering process.

To quote: First up this week, The Last of Us Remastered, lovingly brought to PlayStation 4. Whether you missed it before or want to enjoy the decimated world once again with Joel and Ellie, TLOUR is sure to be one of your must own PS4 titles.

Included with this release are the single player Left Behind chapter, eight multiplayer maps and a bonus developer commentary.

Also available this week is acclaimed 2D roguelike Rogue Legacy. Explore a procedurally generated castle where dying simply puts you in control of an heir.

Oh, but said heir won't be a bog standard character, oh no! Rogue Legacy mixes it up giving your heirs random traits such as being colour blind or even dementia.

26w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer announced that The Last of Us Remastered is out on PlayStation 4 today with a PS4 launch trailer video below.

To quote: The time is here. [Register or Login to view links] in all its 1080p glory is now available in stores and digitally on the PlayStation Store!

If you were lucky enough to log in late last night, you were already able to buy and download our game and start playing even quicker.

We're extremely proud to launch the definitive edition of The Last of Us. We're looking forward to reading and watching your reactions as you play the game for the first time or revisit the world again with all our new features and technical improvements.
