9w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani posted up a new Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag PS3 trailer dubbed The Heist today.
To quote: Pirates were a lot of things, but above all, they were ruthless opportunists on the hunt for plunder, booty, fortune... call it whatever you want - Captain Edward Kenway calls it an end to be reached, by any means necessary.
With the acquisition of riches his paramount goal, Edward assembles a group of like-minded renegades to take the West Indies for all they're worth. Watch the video below for a quick peek at how Kenway organizes a world-class pirate heist!
With the largest governments of the world all bearing down on the islands of the West Indies with a mandate to eradicate the pirate threat once and for all, Captain Kenway and his cohorts will need to band together to survive.
Of course, with that cooperation comes increased effectiveness and even greater gains... as Blackbeard, Charles Vane, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack join forces with the goal of bleeding every scrap of gold out of these islands before the hammer finally falls.
Spoiler alert... it's going to get grim, Assassins!
16w ago - Overkill Software Game Director David Goldfarb shared a new launch trailer video announcing that Payday 2 is out on PS3 today!
To quote: If you're reading this, Payday 2 is almost out - and the Overkill team is off on well-deserved vacations planning our next heist.
It's hard to express just how excited we are about the game finally being available for everyone to play. But soon, everyone will be able to mask up and get their heists started for real!
If you're new to Payday, you've got a lot to look forward to. Payday 2 is an intense and dynamic first-person four player co-operative robbery game unlike any other. It's equal parts RPG and action game now, allowing players to rob banks, jewelry stores, art galleries, and a hell of a lot more.
Even, uh, unusual jobs. Our angle, even on the first Payday, has been "make a game where you feel like you are the bank robber" and we've referenced everything from Breaking Bad to Heat to make that happen. We want to make players feel like they're really experiencing all the tension and high-stakes action of a life of crime.
Veteran Payday: The Heist players are going to remember the intense four-player heisting with the old Payday gang of Hoxton,...
37w ago - Candygun Games Managing Director Roger Joswig invites fans to pull off the ultimate heist in Dollar Dash on PlayStation Network today!
To quote: Everyone here on the development team at Candygun Games is excited to see Dollar Dash release on the PlayStation Network.
Creating a game with local multiplayer mayhem was at the top of our priorities as we designed it to be entertaining to play with friends on the couch or online. We are quite happy with the depth of multiplayer options and configurations - there are so many ways to play.
In Dollar Dash, players control a cartoon thief and attempt to grab as much cash as they can carry in their bag. To secure victory, players must bring their bag of cash to a getaway car all while avoiding pratfalls from other thieves who are out to collect the cash for themselves.
Luckily, there are crazy amounts of weapons and power-ups to utilize in effort to gather the most amounts of cash and stand on top of the piles of cash to be called the number-one thief.
Speaking of weapons, Dollar Dash has 20 crazy ones: from hunting thieves by throwing a cactus pot at them or squashing them with a giant boulder, the game is truly mad. Players can throw down oil slicks or portable holes to shake off pursuers.

70w ago - Sony Online Entertainment Producer Oliver Smith has confirmed today that the Payday: The Heist Wolfpack DLC will be hitting PlayStation Network next week.
To quote: Attention PAYDAY crew! Wolfpack, the first PSN downloadable content for PAYDAY: The Heist, is coming to North America next Tuesday, August 7th.
We've been busy casing some new jobs for you, with Wolfpack featuring two never-before-seen epic heists - Undercover and Counterfeit.
The Undercover heist forces players to drive away the pesky police interrupting a back alley deal, while the Counterfeit heist pressures players to use silenced weapons to keep whistle-blowing civilians from escaping an underground money printing gig. If they tell the 5-0, they'll blow the whole operation!
We're also arming you with new weapons and crewmembers to ensure the job goes smoothly. These new heists require advanced skills, but award bigger payouts. Key features of the Wolfpack DLC include:
• New Weapons: Spray some lead on the move with the all-new auto handgun and assault rifle, or blow away tenacious foes with the shiny new grenade launcher. Need someone to watch your back? Release the deployable sentry gun to take out your enemies.
• The Technician: Based on the character Wolf, the technician...
