In the beginning you are a nobody, in the end you end up a very important somebody!!!
The Godfather 2 is a very solid glitch free game, and the load times are almost non-existant. The weapons are a varied collection so you have the correct tool for every job. The story line is very deep and complex, but also the Godfather 2 is a pretty straightforward game where you take over the buisnesses and become the king of the mob.
You begin your story in Cuba as a nobody, then you move on New York and then you move on to Florida your final stop is Cuba. You are cast into a postion where you are clawing and fighting your way to the top, but first you need to eliminate the other families on your rise to fame and fortune.
The enemies are also perfectly balanced for the game in both their intelligence and weaponry, and the number of enemies is well balanced for each buisness you try and take over. The controls...
244w ago - PlayStation Home Online Community Specialist Locust_Star has unveiled news of an EA's upcoming The Godfather II space, Capcom's Resident Evil 5 space, and some Special Events today.
To quote: Tomorrow, April 9th, is shaping up to be a milestone date in the ever-evolving world known as PlayStation Home...and we can't wait for you all to log in and check out all the cool stuff we've had brewing!
First up, EA is launching their first PlayStation Home game space to support the newly-released The Godfather II game. This space will have a Texas Hold 'Em table and will allow you a place to gather with your fellow PlayStation Home mobsters and tighten up your poker face before EA launches its highly-anticipated Sports Complex.
To celebrate the launch of The Godfather II space, we'll be throwing our first Celebrity Poker tournament in-world Thursday night and we're inviting you along to play a hand (or lose a hand, if you can't settle your debts!). Decorate your avatar to resemble one of your favorite celebrities and then get ready to throw some cards. The party starts at 5:00pm PT (8:00pm EST) and ends when it ends.
On a similarly awesome note, Capcom is further demonstrating their support for all things...
244w ago - The presentation in Godfather two really sets the mood for a mafia story. The game takes place exactly where the first one ended which makes it easier to follow and enjoy right from the start.
The feeling you get when the opening cut scene starts is very immersive, because the intensity of the music followed by the voice acting really makes this game rival even the great Grand Theft Auto Series which is not easy to pull off, yet EA has managed to grasp such a presentation to the game that you will want to spend your time and money to become the DON.
The graphics in this game is simply amazing. The detail in the characters are so clean and crisp that you can see how accurate the facial features move along with the dialogue that's spoken, it's really incredible to see. The explosions in the game are no slouch either, you have a lot of people running around on screen, cars exploding, full screen Anti - Aliasing I mean this game is really beautiful to look at.
The gameplay in this game has taken a serious overhaul from the previous version. The main thing that's great about the gameplay is how much more responsive the controls feel now.
On the PlayStation 3 version you have sixaxis which in most games aren't implemented...
246w ago - The Godfather II 'Don Control Walkthrough' for PS3 video is now available courtesy of GameTrailers.
It unveils an interesting feature coming to the EA franchise: Don Control. The multiplayer feature offers what looks to be an RTS-style control system where one person hosting an online match can place bets on the match (that will in turn carry over into the single-player campaign), issue commands to their human teammates (should they cooperate, that is) and follow individuals of their choosing from a third-person perspective.
The video's caption reads as follows: "If you've got what it takes, use Don Control and see the whole map."
Based on the video, it appears as though EA has taken the extra time afforded them by the game being pushed back to beef up a very different experience than what the single-player campaign offers.
