Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX PS3 Limited Edition Detailed

50°
6d ago - Square Enix Japan Studios Product Manager Kaori Takasue detailed the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX PS3 Limited Edition below today.

To quote: Hi everyone! We're so excited to bring you the latest and greatest Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX news.

It's been a little more than a month since we last announced the release date at E3 - December 2nd, 2014 - followed up by our interactive SD|HD comparison video.

Since then, we've received waves of questions regarding whether there will be a preorder incentive like the beautiful art book in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX which accompanied the limited edition last year.

It was so hard for me to contain my excitement without blurting out the fantastic news. So, I can finally say it here, officially: pre-order Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX early and you'll receive a beautiful pin featuring the iconic characters, Mickey Mouse and Sora!

What you're seeing is a real image of Mickey Mouse and Sora back to back for the first time on a pin. Anyone who preorders the Standard Edition of the game will automatically get upgraded to the Limited Edition while supplies last. This Limited Edition containing this exclusive official Disney pin will be yours right before the holiday.

Of course, you can't announce something without perfecting...

PSNPatch v4.55.06 PS3 App by KW via Kokotonix for CFW is Updated

800°
2w ago - Following up on his previous revision, PlayStation 3 homebrew developer KW (via kokotonix) has updated PSN Patch to v4.55.06 for PS3 Custom Firmware, which allows users to temporarily disable their CFW, spoof their Console ID and more as detailed below.

Download: [Register or Login to view links]

[4.55.06] 16/07/2014 Changelog:

  • New cobra version spoofing method (to spoof cobra 4.46/4.55 into 4.60) - psnpatch should be able to replace other running version spoofers but it is advised to remove them previously;
  • psnpatch plugin has a lot of code changes and optimizations (i.e. opening the way to be started at run-time on non-cobra systems in the near future).
  • Includes updated webman plugin 1.30 changed to ignore cobra version spoofing (remove and install from cobra toolbox menu);

Note: DON'T USE HABIB PLUGIN with PSNPATCH Cobra Stealth extensions, as it hangs waiting for dev_habib (writeable flash - disabled by stealth extensions).

The ps2emu switching is already included inside PSNPatch "cobra toolbox" menu (accessible by pressing SELECT in the main menu)....

Video: Metrico on PS Vita Dated, New PlayStation Vita Trailer Out

50°
2w ago - Digital Dreams Level Designer Roy van de Mortel confirmed today alongside a PlayStation Vita video trailer that Metrico on PS Vita arrives on August 5, 2014.

To quote: Hi fellow PlayStation enthusiasts! We're finally ramping up to the release of our first big title, the infographics action game [Register or Login to view links]. We got loads of questions during development, which we are really excited to finally answer in this blog post!

One of the most frequently asked question is; when is Metrico coming out? We're proud to announce that Metrico will be available on PlayStation Network August 5th in the US, exclusively on PS Vita!

Another frequent question was: "Who did the awesome music?" You're in the right place to find out as well! But the most frequent question was the request for Metrico gameplay footage. We want to start this post by giving you exactly that:

Showing Metrico gameplay

The main reason we took such a long time to show gameplay footage is because we always felt the main mechanics of Metrico are quite tricky to explain through video. We never got around to solving this, even though this is probably a recurring issue for novel game concepts.

Major Music Unlimited App Refresh Now Live on PlayStation 4

50°
2w ago - Sony Entertainment Network Senior Manager Greg Belloni of Corporate Communications announced news today of a major Music Unlimited application refresh now live on PlayStation 4!

To quote: We just launched a major refresh of the Music Unlimited application for PS4 that delivers better performance, easier navigation and improved music discovery. The updated app was redesigned based on your feedback, so we hope that you like what you see. Here are some of the highlights:

The new app opens to the Home Screen that highlights New Releases, New Playlists and New Channels.

A push of the Top Menu button (Square on the PS4  wireless controller (DUALSHOCK 4)), reveals a new left-hand side vertical navigation menu that provides easy access to features like Search, Charts, Playlists, Channels, My Library, and Settings.

The new app also features an attractive new full screen music player and play queue so users will always know what song is playing and what tracks are coming up next.

A tap of the Options button reveals basic features such as Volume, Repeat, Shuffle, playlist options and artist and song details.

Give it a try and let us know what you think and keep an eye open for future updates!
