OzMods states, to quote: "The final units have been delayed for everyone, not just us. So they should ship to us from China in a couple of days. The delay was due to them coding a new backup manager and locking their device to this manager, so that if anyone tries to clone, they can't use the software."

Patch 1.20 has been released for LBP today so named "Celtic Promise", no details have been announced only that it is 23mb and is a DLC patch, no hidden features that ave been sneaked in this time around.
But there is some exiting news aabout Patch 1.21 and the Leadammer patch from mnimmo1986 over at the Official PS Boards he had this to say in his LBP patch details thread about the patch:
"The 1.20 update to the game is indeed more content, rather anything too massive, however I can reveal that 1.21 is the fabled and oft heard of Leerdammer update.
I can't say when it's coming just yet, but the fact that it's next in the queue should give you some indication."
So it looks like the Leadammer patch is in the front of the que and the next patch to be released on LBP. And if you don't know what this means well the Leadammer patch includes:

• Create levels online with your friends.

217w ago - Microsoft's Windows 7 isn't arriving until the October 22nd, however, details have surfaced over the weekend that indicate Windows 8 will come with 128-bit support.
This information was derived from Robert Morgan's LinkedIn Profile (Google cache), who is a senior research and development engineer at Microsoft.
Needless to say, the information has now been removed from his profile.
To quote: In it, he says he's "working in high security department for research and development involving strategic planning for medium and longterm projects."
He goes on to say his R&D projects include: "128-bit architecture compatibility with the Windows 8 kernel and Windows 9 project plan." He's also responsible for "forming relationships with major partners: Intel, AMD, HP and IBM.
A 128-bit version of Windows 8 would represent the next leap in performance. According to Microsoft's plans to release a new desktop version of Windows every three years, Windows 8 is scheduled to become available in 2012."
223w ago - Well, it's less than a day after Sony's PS3 Firmware 3.0 update has been released and already there appears to be numerous reports of some PS3 games freezing post-update.
According to Examiner.com (linked above), at least three PS3 titles thus far seem to be adversely affected.
To quote: "One of the biggest games being inflicted by this freezing bug is Uncharted. Numerous forum goers on GameFaqs are complaining about the freezing issue. There have also been a few reports of the UFC and Bioshock getting similar symptoms.
Whether this is just limited to Uncharted isn't known, but it could very well cause some minor problems to other titles, too. Let's hope Sony finds a cure for this minor inconvenience soon."
A few others are reporting that NFS: Undercover now freezes when playing online and COD4 froze when in a lobby.
That being said, if anyone here has experienced any PS3 game freezing issues since updating to PS3 Firmware 3.0 feel free to reply in the comments below!
225w ago - This is apparently attack of the alleged PS3 Slim ads day... two retailers from two different sources claim they snagged pics of the upcoming ads.
Gizmodo (linked above) reports that they received photos of a 120GB PS3 Slim listed for $299.99 in a K-Mart flyer.
The story on the second set of pics supposedly from a Best Buy ad comes from TheBigManAndGarrett who are reporting the following from their source, to quote:
"I cannot reveal my exact role, however, I can tell you that I work closely with the marketing department at Best Buy. This ad is a mock up at best of the ad to be released in just over two weeks.
I cannot comment on the NeoGAF PS3 mock up as this is the material that we're working with. Many images are often used as placeholders. The final ad will be touched up for grammar, punctuation, etc. Hope this helps."
That being said, the general consensus thus far is they are fakes... all we can do is wait until next week to see if the PS3 Slim makes an appearance at...
