113w ago - This is just a quick PSA that we have now completed work integrating the PS3 News Quick Style Chooser into our Forums, Portal and 17 Subdomains hosted here which allows you to change the colors based on your preferences while browsing the site each day.
It can be found in the bottom left corner of each page here, and we will continue adding Styles to it frequently.
If anyone wishes to take a screenshot like HeyManHRU did HERE and fill in the colors you'd like to see we will do our best to add a Style under your UserName to pick from as time permits!
Finally, we are still offering $100 US for a new Site Logo... so far we have had a lot of GREAT design ideas in the ongoing thread with the criteria outlined below:
The logo should look decent with a transparent background, or able to be made that way upon being selected (most are).
The logo design should be unique so that when seen the first thing that comes to a viewer's mind is our site, not "Sony" or "PlayStation 3" so try to avoid using pics of the PS3 itself or...

To quote: As you probably know, our new PSN-exclusive heroic full-3D platformer Topatoi is now available at US PlayStation Store.
For just $9.99 (which is like, you know, really cheap for that kind of great game) you now get not just a game, but beginning today, fully equipped with new features and characters.
Topatoi's Arcade Style Pack DLC will be available for free in today's PlayStation Store update. Recolor arcade levels for your own taste and even more - pilot a fantastic machine of a strange, but oh-so-cute, barbarian from the Great Tree!
By the way, the dev team wanted me to tell you thanks for all the comments and attention you are giving to the title :-) Don't stop hitting us with your feedback; we really appreciate it, cheers or critics. It all helps us to make the second episode (which is at the testing stage now) of the game better!

215w ago - Today PlayStation Home Online Community Specialist Locust_Star has announced news of a PlayStation Home Halloween bash set for this weekend.
To quote: As you may know from visiting Central Plaza in the last few weeks or watching one of the recent newscasts on PULSE, zombies have staged a full-on invasion of PlayStation Home.
It's certainly no coincidence that the living dead are coming out of the woodwork just in time for Halloween (it is their version of Thanksgiving, after all - complete with morsels of mortals upon which to ravenously feast).
We here on the PlayStation Home Community Management team want to roll out the proverbial red carpet for our reanimated brethren and throw the biggest (brainiest?) bash of the year, but we'll need your help in overcoming a few obstacles along the way.
First and foremost, we're asking that all of you ghouls and gals visit the DeadQuarters to "undead yourself" (and all of your friends). There's no need for any complex magical systems or exposure to dangerous radiation, simply enter the DeadQuarters (whether it is your own space or a friend's) and watch as your wardrobe fills up with free zombie items. Becoming one of the walking dead has never been easier.
223w ago - New information has been released on the various gadgets or 'toys' you will be able to play with in the upcoming game from Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed II, as follows:
Coins - Assassin's Creed II will feature an economic system allowing you to apparently pickpocket anyone you see and buy extra knives and other objects throughout the game. Ezio also has the ability to throw some coins into the crowd and watch people scramble to pick them, allowing a very juicy time to escape.
Poison - Ezio will be able to acquire poison to use on his hidden blades. The poison eventually kills the target (after a minute or so), but until such a time, the target goes insane, and will babble with madness, trash around and lash out at people and guards.
Smoke Bombs - These were first seen in a preview the developers of the game created at which time they used them to blind the guards and quickly run away.
The toys can also be combined in various ways. Poison a guard and have a crowd of people gather around to watch the show. Then throw some coins on the ground and watch them scramble to pick them up while crazy-pants beats them to a pulp. This creates a nice little distraction, allowing you to sneak past the guards.
These toys are confirmed as being available, in addition...
