Streaming software by StreamMyGame, that enables the latest PC games to be played on the PlayStation 3, now enables you to play PC games with your SIXAXIS controller.
The new StreamMyGame PlayStation 3 player includes a USB and Bluetooth pairing tool that enables the SIXAXIS to be used via cable or wirelessly.
"Both our new StreamMyGame PS3 player and the Bluetooth tool install automatically, just download and double click" said Richard Faria, StreamMyGames CEO. "In addition to streaming games from your local PC, the new player enables games to be streamed from remote PCs or PC servers housed in ISP exchanges".
Also included is a new configuration tool enabling gamers to map each SIXAXIS button and thumb controller to a different keyboard key and mouse axis so gamers can create map settings that suit their preferred gameplay.

StreamMyGame makes it possible to play the best and most graphically demanding PC games on ultra portable notebooks.
StreamMyGame has announced support for the new range of ultra portable notebooks, including the Asus Eee PC and Ebox and over 100 other UMPCs. The new StreamMyGame software runs at full screen resolution on both Windows and Linux versions of the Eee PC.

StreamMyGame.com announced today that its software now enables 2D applications as such as Microsoft Office as well as 3D games to be used remotely on low spec Windows notebooks, Linux devices and the PlayStation 3.
StreamMyGame.com offers its members the flexibility to use their 2D applications installed on a main PC on any other PC or Linux device in their home or home office. The application does not need to be installed on the remote PC/device. Their applications can be viewed at HDTV resolution and two people can simultaneously use the same application making it easy to collaborate.

StreamMyGame announced today the release of its free Linux Player, an application that enables you to play any PC game via a PlayStation 3 running Linux.
The free StreamMyGame Server enables PC games to be played remotely by converting the game's video and audio into a Game Stream and sending it over a home network to a second computer where you can view and play the game with the free StreamMyGame Player.
The second computer can be a PC, laptop, PS3 or Linux device. The game can be played on the second computer without any lag and the second computer does not need to have the game installed.
The StreamMyGame Server is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and all computer games based on Microsoft's DirectX8, DirectX9, DirectX10 including the latest games such as PES 2008 and Crysis and OpenGL standards.

Remember the possibility of playing PC games on the PS3 sometime in the future?
The guys over at StreamMyGame finally managed (a few weeks ago) to put together the system that would facilitate doing just that.
If you've got a PS3 with Linux installed (any type of Linux - Yellow Dog Linux, Ubuntu etc) you can get this up and running. More explanations in a thread on the StreamMyGame forum here. (and here for a tutorial on how to install Linux on the PS3)

A UK-based company called StreamMyGame.com makes software that is able to convert your PC game into an IP game stream which can be shared over the Web and played remotely on a range of devices.
They say it turns PC games into an IP "game stream", which they claim: "enables users to post hypertext links to their games on the site, which can then be played remotely by other visitors to site who click on the links." Right now it only works with PC games running remotely through XP or Vista. The company says they will release a "a Linux version in Q4 2007 which will enable PC games to be played on the PlayStation 3."
