6d ago - Sony PlayStation Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe announced today alongside a video that the 12 deals of Christmas returns to PlayStation Store!
To quote: Hi everyone! It's that time of year again when Santa gets his sleigh ready to deliver all the goodies he has been preparing and at PlayStation Store we are no different.
What better way to celebrate this festive period than by delivering some great savings on a range of the very best games?
Starting on 1st December, every 48 hours we'll post two new discounts, one for PS3 and one for PS Vita (so 24 game discounts in total across the month), as well as some great savings on movie rentals. PS Store really is your one stop shop for full on, action packed entertainment, up to and over the festive period.
Make sure you keep checking PlayStation Blog for details of every deal as soon as they hit the store.
The first deal starts this Sunday 1st December so make sure you grab it before it vanishes quicker than the last mince pie! We'll be back on the day to unwrap the first treat!

57w ago - Following their previous tour, today Sony PlayStation Store Director Grace Chen has announced the new PSN Store is here with a new video posted below.
To quote: As you may have noticed, the new PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 is now available in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.
Great new features like streaming trailers, improved search, new filter and sort options, as well as improved graphics, more game and video information, and easier access to add-ons are just some of the highlights.
With so much content available, it's a great time to jump in and check it out.

59w ago - Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel has shared a video tour today giving users a chance to take a look inside their new PlayStation Store!
To quote: Last week we gave you a sneak peek of the completely redesigned PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3.
Along with the re-imagined user interface, we added predictive search and improved filtering to make finding content easier and faster. The new store also offers more in-depth information about games, add-ons and apps, as well as movies and TV shows, letting you browse and discover new types of content effortlessly.
The redesigned PlayStation Store launches in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil on October 23. In the meantime you can get a taste of what's coming in this walkthrough video:

123w ago - Sony Developer Support Senior Engineer John McCutchan announced that their new PS3 Move.me software application hits the PlayStation Store today, and is free to both students and educators!
To quote: At this year's Game Developers Conference we unveiled Move.me, a new software application that runs on the PS3 system and gives researchers, students, and programmers access to PlayStation Move's technology for developing apps beyond traditional gaming – physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, or education.
Move.me enables anyone with a PS3 to experiment with PlayStation Move and create new applications using a PC, the PlayStation Move motion controller, the PlayStation Eye camera, and the PS3 system.
Later today, Move.me will be available as a complimentary download for members of Academia including Academic researchers, faculty, staff, and students. Interested participants can apply for the Academia Program here. For all other users, Move.me will be available later today on the PlayStation Store for $99.99.
