I am extremely busy today sorting out some PSOne deals for you due to the new PS Vita functionality announced earlier this week, so I do apologise for any delay in answering questions, but I'll leap in as soon as I can.

I know a lot of you were hoping for news on Counter Strike: Global Offensive but I'm afraid I've no new information to share today. Rest assured we'll update you as soon as possible.

137w ago - According to Gamersmint.com (linked above), Sony has now succeeded in banning sales of the PSJailBreak PS3 modchip USB device in Europe.

This news comes just days after document leaks and UKIE support for Sony's swift legal action were announced.

To quote: "Sony has finally succeeded in banning the selling of the modchip in Europe.

After releasing a security firmware update which made the PSJailbreak useless, Sony has gone 1up now and the Japanese manufacturer has cut the grass from under the feet of prospective hackers through an order which makes it illegal to sell the modchip and all its clones in Europe.

This news has been confirmed by ChipSpain, one of the leading modchip online retailers who have taken off their stock of the PSJailbreak from their website following this recent order.

138w ago - SCEE Home Community Lead Alex Weekes has announced today that Heroes and Villains are heading to PlayStation Home in Europe as part of the update this week.

To quote: We have our first batch of the great costumes that have been released in America recently. Whether you're into fighting crime as a masked hero, or causing mayhem as a villain, we've got you (spandex) covered!

On the hero side there's Captain Inflame-o, The Epsilon Viper and Nocturne, facing off against the villainous Wild Scarlet, Red Raven and Cyborg. Keeping an eye on all of them from a dirty alleyway is the Hobo... deadly assassin in disguise, or just a man down on his luck?

VEEMEE's latest animal-themed costume items have proven to be a hit, and this week sees the second release. Check out the V-store for the latest creatures, including vicious looking draconic pieces.

Lockwood's dropping some more female clothing this week. The latest in fashion from Lockwood is described as "rock chick" and includes a range of gloves and new tops. I'll let the screenshot do the talking:

167w ago - Update: Sony has finally confirmed at the GDC conference that their PS3 Motion Controller wand-shaped device is called PlayStation Move (official specs below, courtesy of PlayStationLifestyle) and is slated for a Fall 2010 release.

Jack Tretton, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, has stated that at Sony alone there are twenty games in development for the PlayStation Move platform.

Plans for a $100 PlayStation Eye and Move bundle package were announced, however, no word on the cost of the peripheral by itself.

Today JoyStiq (linked above) reports that Sony has trademarked 'PlayStation Move' in Europe, which some are speculating may be another name for the PS3 Motion Controller recently dubbed Arc.

To quote: "Yesterday, Sony filed a European trademark, for use with a control device, for 'PlayStation Move.'

191w ago - Earlier today we reported news of an upcoming Final Fantasy 13 PS3 Bundle that was announced at TGS 2009.

Now Sony has sent out two Press Releases (first is linked above) confirming a FIFA 10 and Need for Speed Shift 250GB PS3 bundle for Europe (and South Africa, at R4400), and also another confirming a SingStar Motown, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time and EyePet PS3 250GB bundles.
