Per Kevin Furuichi (Executive Producer, PlayStation Network) via the PlayStation Blog today:

Hey everyone, my name is Kevin Furuichi and I’m the new Executive Producer here at the PlayStation Network.

The Qore team’s put together a spook-tacular, monster-themed Halloween Special for Episode 05 available in the PlayStation Store on Thursday, October 9, here’s a preview:

Fallout 3
Nuclear winter in Washington, D.C. and mutated humans and beasts are really not so happy about the way things turned out. Do you dare leave the bunker and confront their radiation-amplified personality issues?

Resident Evil 5
The series that invented the term “Survival Horror” is back and better than ever on PlayStation 3 - just don’t call them “zombies” – they HATE that!

Yes folks, it's October, which means that the crazy end-of-year games rush has begun. A boggling number of games are due out over the next few months, so let us guide you towards the titles we really think you should be keeping an eye on.

Remember though, most of these recommendations are based on previews, so wait until the final review verdict before picking any of them up.

In other words, it's got everything Animal Crossing always needed. AC is one of those games you either love or just don't get at all, but if you're the former, this will be a must. More »

September has nearly come to a close, and Qore Episode 5 is nearly upon us. We've got the details on the latest episode right here.

As the October issue, Qore will celebrate Halloween with the theme "The Monsters of Gaming," which will debut brand new footage of Fallout 3, Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space.

October also represents the approach of colder weather. In that spirit, Qore headed out to Park City, Utah to check out the PS3 version of Shaun White Snowboarding.

As always, the episode will feature an assortment of mini-games and downloadable content, though what form they will take has yet to be specified.

Stay tuned for more Qore coverage!
