500°
6d ago - Aksys Games Director of Production Frank "Bo" DeWindt II shared a video today announcing that Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- rocks PS4 and PS3 this December.

Below are the details, to quote: Hello friend and lovers of all things Aksys! It is your loyal and humble servant, Frank "Bo" deWindt II, Director of Production here at Aksys Games.

Today I bring to you joyous and momentous news in regards to our upcoming fighting game on PS4 and PS3, [Register or Login to view links].

But first, let me explain a little bit about the game for those that have no prior knowledge of the Guilty Gear series!

The series has been around since time immemorial (and by that, I mean for 16 years!). It's been redesigned from the world of 2D, to incorporate both 2D and 3D elements, making it a veritable feast for the eyes kind of experience, thanks to some technical Arc System Works magic and the Unreal 3 engine.

Thanks to that, 3D models have been fashioned to create the illusion of 2D sprites without anyone being the wiser.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- has also enhanced its fighting mechanics...

6w ago - Sony Corporate Communications Senior Manager Greg Belloni announced today that Music Unlimited on the PlayStation 3 has been redesigned with improved PS3 performance!

To quote: A major update to [Register or Login to view links] on PS3 is now live, delivering a completely new user interface and a huge step up in performance.

Focusing on music discovery and quicker access to your favorite tracks, the updated app is modeled after our Music Unlimited PS4 app.

• When you open the new MU app on PS3, the first thing you'll notice is the redesigned home page which showcases the latest releases, as well as new playlists and channels.

• A push of the Square button opens the left-hand navigation menu where you'll find access to the search function as well as access to Charts, Playlists, Channels, My Library, and Settings tabs.

• When you select Charts, you see the most popular Music Unlimited albums and songs, sortable by genre.

• The Playlists section offers playlists that are curated by our in-house music experts, as well as your personal playlists.

• When you select Channels, you'll call up Music Unlimited's Premium, Genre, Mood, Era, and My Channels.

To quote: Hi Guys, So, I had an idea many months back, that I wanted to try and do something cooler with the PS3MFW UI, but wasn't sure if it would even work... and make it much cooler like many of the metro-like windows apps today...

I also wanted to maintain the same 'tcl' concept for all of the tasks, as well as the setup behind it, etc... just wanted to get rid of the TCL/TK-based UI, and tie it into a windows-based App, with TCL integration, etc...

Surprisingly, I was actually able to get it all working, was quite a challenge getting it all together,...

RPSDIR Automatic PS3 Files Resigner Homebrew App by Roor Arrives

50°
7w ago - Today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Roor made available RPSDIR, which is an automatic PS3 files resigner homebrew application with details below.

Download: [Register or Login to view links] / [Register or Login to view links]

To quote: I just took an hour from lunch, and made a tool that might help. It's named it RPSDIR (Resigner for PS Directories).

I used a bunch of older tools a coded for personal use (including NSCETOOL, which is a custom SCETOOL based on AES 256 CRT code and other stuff; it follows the same rules as the original SCETOOL). It was compiled with Visual Studio 2012, and other stuff.

It just allows you to select a directory, and it searches for all EBOOT.BIN, *.SELF and *.SPRX files, and resigs them with 3.41 keys.

Old (original) files are renamed as *.bak (ie: EBOOT.BIN becomes EBOOT.BIN.BAK). And "decrypted files" are renamed as "*.elf" (ie: EBOOT.BIN becomes EBOOT.BIN.ELF). Original files are automatically replaced by the resigned-ones. If you do not want to keep the old ones (in case you use IRD, just delete them).

Please inform me if any bug arises (this was a quick job done during this last hour). Probably, I'll fix them (if notified) for next week end.
