79w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited Content Producer Katy Macdonald has interviewed CEO Suda51 of Grasshopper Manufacture today who officially announced that Lollipop Chainsaw is hitting PS3 on June 15, 2012.
Below is the interview, to quote: On way our over to the Warner Bros. booth to check out superhero brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us and the zombie-blitzing Lollipop Chainsaw, we got a last minute phone call: Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi "Suda51″ Suda had arrived at E3, would we like to interview him?
Seeing as this was the creative director behind such PlayStation classics as Killer7 and Shadows of the Damned, not to mention the forthcoming Lollipop Chainsaw itself, it was too good a chance to miss!
Here's what Suda51 had to say about the game, working with the creator of the Resident Evil series and his creative processes.
Where do you get the inspiration from for your off-the-wall characters?
Suda51: Well, first of all I think about gameplay and a story. I could be taking a bus somewhere and spot an interesting old man walking down the street....
142w ago - Sony's Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has posted up a video today where Ed Boon and Stig entertain Kratos vs Mortal Kombat on PS3.
To quote: The first time we saw him we thought, 'Oh my God, what a great Mortal Kombat character he would make.'
Ed Boon is very excited. The Mortal Kombat creative director and co-creator can finally spill his guts regarding one of the most anticipated video-game crossovers of all time: Kratos' exclusive guest appearance in the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat.
"We kind of felt it was meant to happen," he says. "We think we've done Kratos justice."
Ed Boon and God of War III director Stig Asmussen don't remember who made the first phone call, but both recall the Kratos crossover talks starting early in Mortal Kombat's development cycle. "I remember somebody saying, ''hey, there might be this possibility of Kratos appearing in Mortal Kombat,'" Stig remembers.
"I said, ' You gotta be kidding me, we gotta make this happen! Let's get on the phone.'" Describing himself as a "huge God of War fan," Boon was all too eager to work out the details and spark a larger collaborative effort between both studios.

The Robo Goalie returns this week to PlayStation Home, and he refuses to admit summer is over!
Where better to keep the summer alive than on your very own SFRGBT!! Tropical Island personal space - available from Estates for €4.99 or £3.99. The SFRGBT!!
Tropical Island comes complete with the updated Supa-Fun Robo-Goalie Beach Time!! game. Robo Goalie returns with a kit bag stuffed full of new goodies, and he's giving them away to those with the skill to score the most consecutive goals.
Play in your island apartment to earn 4 new rewards, or play the version in the Shopping Centre where you can pick up 9 rewards - the most challenging being the apartment itself (if you've not bought it from Estates)!
Big changes are coming to the Shopping Centre this week. Due to there being more demand for store space than we had supply, our builders have been hard at work expanding the Shopping Centre with a second area. Join us this week for the grand opening of several new stores!
The new stores arriving this week are Billabong, Lockwood, nDreams and LucasArts. These newest stores...
