Video: Gunship X PS4 is Coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Experience

200°
4w ago - Gunship X Developer Serban Porumbescu announced today alongside a PS4 trailer video that Gunship X is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Experience.

To quote: PlayStation Nation, Gunship X is coming to PS4 (cross buy, 1080p, 60fps) in 2015, and to PlayStation Experience this December.

We announced PS Vita support a few months back. During Vita development we asked ourselves, "What's better than PS Vita support?" You guessed it, PS Vita AND PS4 support, that's what. Oh? Did someone say, "cross buy?" You got it!

Adding PS4 support changed everything. The gameplay had to shift from a fully mobile experience into something better suited to comfy couches and huge 1080p screens.

Don't worry Vita fans, you'll also dig the changes. In addition to various visual enhancements, the "infinite runner" style missions have given way to a proper, progressive mission system. The infinite play mode is still available as an alternate mode.

We have one last bit of exciting news. [Register or Login to view links] in Las Vegas on December 6th and 7th.

New Warframe PS4 Update Out Today: UI, Pets, and Player Ships

50°
17w ago - Digital Extremes Associate Producer Pat Kudirka announced that the new Warframe PS4 update is out today and features a new UI, pets and player ships.

Below are the details, to quote: We know you've been (not so) patiently waiting for this one, Tenno, but we know it's worth the wait! Our team has poured their heart and souls into this update and it shows. Update 14: The Mad Cephalon arrives today on PS4, and with it comes our most ambitious changes to date.

A complete overhaul to the player UI, the arrival of Kubrow companions, our Infested Breeding Grounds event, and the brand new player ship Liset round off our focus on the new-player experience. There's a lot of ground to cover, so let's get started!

Vor's Prize

While we can break down a lot of this update into smaller parts, at the center of it all is Vor's Prize, Warframe's first quest in the newly introduced quest system.

We've completely overhauled our tutorial to give players a better understanding of how to use Warframe powers, acquire some starter mods, and learn the basics of the game all while taking part in a pretty exciting showdown between you and the dangerous Captain Vor.

We've built the tutorial as a sort of prologue to the full game, and anyone with an existing account will...

Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition Hits PS4 on July 1st

50°
26w ago - Drinkbox Studios Production Assistant Matthew Johns announced today that Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition is coming to PS4 on July 1st, 2014.

To quote: Hello friends! Matt from DrinkBox Studios here with a big news announcement. Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is coming to PS4 on July 1st for $14.99.

For those not in the know, we released the original Guacamelee last April for PS3 and PS Vita. As it turns out, a lot of you enjoyed playing as luchadors Juan and Tostada, punching skeletons and platforming through a magical, Mexican-inspired world to save El Presidente's Daughter from Carlos Calaca and his gang of minions.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition has all the great action from the original game, including both the costume and Infierno DLC, and we've added a bunch of new content to enhance your Guac experience.

Some things we've added: more words to the title, an extra save slot, new costumes, creepy hanging dolls, two extra levels, new and improved enemies, another save slot, a new dimension-switching ability called "Shadow Swap," chicken egg bombs, an [Register or Login to view links] with an impossibly large head, and a power called INTENSO.

We've also added a new boss, El Trio,...

Resogun: New Modes, Ship Editor, and More Hitting PS4 This Month

50°
27w ago - Housemarque's Mikael Haveri announced today that new modes, a ship editor, and more are hitting Resogun on PS4 this month!

To quote: Great news everyone - the humans are back!

The explosive PS4 launch title, RESOGUN, is finally getting more content in the form of the Heroes expansion and a complimentary patch.

RESOGUN: Heroes will introduce two brand new modes: 'Survival'' and 'Demolition'. In essence, Survival is an endless mode that retains a lot of the core mechanics from the original Arcade mode. We switched up a few things, like scoring, and gave the humans parachutes as you can see in the image below.

The Day/Night cycle is another prominent feature of the new Survival mode. As you play, the varying time of day provides a great aesthetic and visual indicator, letting you know how far you have come.

Survival mode is for players who know they can always do a bit better. There are a lot of cool new things to learn while you take the ride, but as we intend to stay true to the arcade feeling, we will let you discover the twists yourself.

Demolition is my personal favorite, and a quantum leap from the original gameplay mechanics. "Arkanoid meets RESOGUN" is one way to sum...
