Recently many users have received their Netflix Instant Streaming Disc that began shipping a few days ago.

As mentioned previously, the disc is required to use the Netflix steaming service on the PlayStation 3 until 2010, when a Firmware update will take its place.

Today VIZ Media has launched Naoki Urasawa's Monster, an animated drama based on the Manga series, to Sony's PlayStation Network video delivery service.

Available exclusively for the PSP and PlayStation 3 systems, episodes 1-6 of the animated series are now available for download for $1.99 each via PSN's VIZ Media Channel page.

Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata has confirmed that in the near future it will test out providing demos on the WiiWare service.

Sky Player launched this week on the Xbox 360 (pictured below), and according to Sky it may come to the PS3 console as well.

Today JoyStiq (linked above) has expanded on the initial announcement from earlier today that Netflix is officially hitting Sony's PS3 console.

According to Netflix, in order to use its steaming service on the PlayStation 3 the application disc will have to be in the PS3 until 2010.
