96w ago - Today Sucker Punch Productions Community Manager Collin Moore has shared news of a free InFamous 2 UGC Vehicles Pack and Search Function now available on PSN, as follows:
The very first inFAMOUS 2 User-Generated Content Pack is available now on the Playstation Network, and it's completely free!
In the coming weeks and months, we will be releasing more free content updates that will add new objects to User Generated Content (UGC).
In this first of many UGC updates, you'll gain access to a number of vehicles from the single-player missions of inFAMOUS 2: Bertrand's Limo, Bertrand's Semi-Truck, the New Marais Police Car, the Ambulance, and a bike. Heal injured pedestrians from the flipped over ambulance and protect them from the swarm of enemies.
Help the New Marais Police department from incoming attack from the Vermaak 88 Ice Soldiers. Or hunt down that pesky bicycle thief.
Over 50,000 user-created missions have been submitted to inFAMOUS 2 and you'll need a way to find the missions you want to play. We are happy to announce Missions Search: Simply pause the game, bring up your UGC menu, and search by any term you wish, including PSN user names.
New to UGC? Be sure to check out the inFAMOUS 2 UGC tutorial videos that guide you through the tech...
137w ago - Public Relations Manager Melissa Dolan has shared a video announcement that the Invizimals search begins today using the PSP's new camera.
To quote: I want to let you know Invizimals for the PSP system is available in stores beginning today AND it comes bundled with our new camera! This is the first camera-based PSP game for North America.
Imagine being able to search for invisible animals but you can only do it with your PSP system. Just point the camera to locate virtual creatures anywhere- behind sofas, into corners, and under bushes and they will pop up on your PSP system screen.
With a magical trap (rectangular shaped card also included with the game), you interact with the monsters by grabbing, tickling and luring them into your collection. With over 120 creatures to capture, indulge in a single player game of magical discovery or enjoy multiplayer action online.
You can battle by using special moves such as blowing onto the camera to create a hurricane; shaking the PSP system to start an earthquake, or casting a shadow over the battlefield to deploy a lightning strike. You can also take pictures of your monster collection and trade online with friends.
This is a fun one for PSP fans! We'd like to thank...
148w ago - Recently we reported that Netflix will be going discless on the PS3 by October, but today JoyStiq (linked above) revealed that Netflix also offers PlayStation 3 users the ability to search through their entire video library.
To quote: "Netflix just became a lot easier to use on the PS3. No, you still need a disc (for now), but the application has been stealthily upgraded with the ability to search for and watch videos from the entire Instant library.
For example, typing the letter "A" quickly revealed Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Unfortunately, the Xbox Live and Wii versions of Netflix don't appear to have been updated with this feature yet. Xbox owners will have to wait until November."
249w ago - MrTrill, a Community Team Moderator over at the EU PlayStation forums (linked above) has revealed that the European PlayStation Store we will be implementing a Search By A-Z category within the Store.
To quote: "In support of our continued improvements to the PlayStation ® Store we will be implementing a Search By A-Z category within the Store.
Featuring within our store update this Thursday the 14th August, the All Games section will now include sections sorting our game content into A-Z listings by letter.
Therefore, if you're looking for a specific game, demo or game add-on content by name, you can use this handy new feature to speed up your search."
