16w ago - Today R*Q at RockStar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is out now on PlayStation Network.

To quote: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile, is now available to download from PlayStation Store for $9.99 as part of the PS2 Classics collection.

That's the original game in digital form, and to complete the nostalgia, we've made the map that was originally packed in the game box available as a hi-res jpeg for you to print out and peruse next time you're lost in Little Havana.

105w ago - Shortly following the PS3 Firmware 3.61 update, reports came in that users running L.A. Noire may be causing PS3 consoles to be overheating.

Today Senior Director of Corporate Communications & Social Media Patrick Seybold has addressed concerns on the issue below with an official statement on behalf of Sony and Rockstar Games, as follows:

We have received a very small number of customer support questions about PS3s overheating or shutting down while playing L.A. Noire. At this time, Rockstar Games and Sony can confirm that neither L.A. Noire or firmware update 3.61 are causing the PS3 hardware to overheat.

150w ago - Today Rockstar has offically announced the PS3 DLC for Red Dead Redemption, which includes a zombie mode among several other updates!

To quote: Today, we are proud to announce plans for an ongoing series of downloadable content for Red Dead Redemption.

Four packs of add-on downloadable content will be released for PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE over the next few months, starting with the 'Legends and Killers' Pack at the beginning of August and culminating with the Red Dead Redemption 'Undead Nightmare' Pack this fall.

These packs follow the recent release of the Free 'Outlaws to The End' Co-Op Mission Pack, which is available now on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.

The upcoming downloadable content includes:
