To quote: Prepare for some quality zombie slaying while re-living Resident Evil history in high definition!

The Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection features Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles in high definition and comes with PlayStation Move support to help immerse you in the horror.

You can grab a friend to play or spend your time racking up Trophies.

The collection will initially be available to download as a discounted two-game bundle, but at a later date, each of the titles will be available for purchase separately. PlayStation Plus members will enjoy 10% off retail price of $26.99, bringing it down to just $24.29 for these two Resident Evil classics.

190w ago - Capcom revealed in this year's Tokyo Game Show two new characters that will be appearing in Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles that is due to come out late November.

To quote: Hidalgo, a South American drug lord and Manuela, a mysterious girl will be the key characters in Leon's special mission in South America.

It's been said that these characters will play a big role in that scenario.

We'll have to wait until we get the final build of the game.

212w ago - Some new scans have emerged of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for the Nintendo Wii from Famitsu, where it shows Ada Wong for the first time in the game.

The game is much related to Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica, with you playing as Clare Redfield and Leon Kennedy.

218w ago - Today Capcom has officially announced the details on Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for the Wii, just a day before the Xbox 360 and PS3 release of Resident Evil 5.

It's a follow up to the Wii shooter, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. In addition, Capcom will be re-releasing Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero exclusively on the Wii platform.

Here are all the details from Capcom:

"We are very excited to be bringing the sequel to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles to the Wii as it's the perfect fit for the platform," said Mona Hamilton, vice president, marketing, Capcom Entertainment. "

We are always looking for new ways to give Capcom fans a chance to experience our games. Umbrella Chronicles was a huge success for us, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles includes a more in-depth co-op experience, and we are excited to bring this exclusive content to the Wii audience."
