A couple of weeks ago, we got the opportunity to visit Milestone and spend some quality time with the latest entry in Capcom’s survival horror series - Resident Evil.
The build we played was the same one that was presented at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. The demo featured two short levels and also gave us the first glimpse into the newly introduced co-op mode.
As you may know, one of the biggest changes in Resident Evil 5 is the inclusion of co-op. For the first time in the Resident Evil series (Outbreak doesn’t count), you can play through the campaign co-operatively. The second character introduced is Sheva.
The campaign can be played either online, split-screen or via system link. In case you don’t have anyone to play with, the game will take control of the second character. The friendly AI that controls Sheva does a wonderful job; she’ll constantly heal you, provide you with different items (ammo included) and most importantly, she... More »

Then prepare to experience the world of Rapture like never before with the BioShock PS3 Challenge Rooms Add-On Content pack available tomorrow, November 20, for $9.99 only on the PlayStation Network.

New Game Plus allows you to start a new supercharged playthrough of BioShock. Ready for this? You begin the game with any weapons, abilities, and inventory that you collected during a previous playthrough. Always wish you could obliterate Dr. Steinman with your uber grenade launcher? Now you can!
2K Games has outlined its plans for the announced downloadable content coming to BioShock for the PlayStation 3.
On November 20, fans of splicing can pay $9.99 for three self-contained Challenge Rooms. The new rooms also offer PlayStation Trophies for clever solutions to the problems they present. The description of the rooms straight from 2K Games follows:

The I in Team - Using limited resources, and an even more limited arsenal, players must negotiate traps and find a way to defeat a Big Daddy using their wits instead of raw firepower.
Worlds of Hurt - Step up and take on the most grueling challenge offered in the world of Rapture. Pl... More »

After struggling to define itself as more than just a top console, the Sony PlayStation 3's "LittleBigPlanet" era is set to begin Oct. 21. It gets era-starting status because the game is… different.
After more than a year of hype, the game's lead character, Sackboy (or Sackgirl), is set to tear down walls for gamers and possibly advertisers and perhaps become as famous as Nintendo's iconic Mario, of "Donkey Kong" and "Mario Bros." fame.

It was "as if they were kids again, watching some Saturday morning cartoon," Fong told IBD. "For me, that was the moment of realization that we had more than just a great game — it became something that the entire industry would look to as game-changing."

In a move that has stunned many people in the World of Warcraft community, Blizzard has reversed their earlier stance on no PvE to PvP server transfers.
Per Bornakk on the official World of Warcraft forums, Blizzard has decided to open up transfers from PvE servers to PvP servers because "World of Warcraft has matured significantly since the inception of Paid Character Transfers, [they] don't feel that PvE-to-PvP transfers will have the negative impact on the game that [they] initially wanted to avoid when [they] started the service in 2006.
This change will provide more mobility and freedom for players to experience the game with friends or play in the type of environment they're looking for."
Considering the furor that is now starting up on the official forums regarding this major... More »
