17w ago - Just days after the PS4 / Orbis controller prototype surfacing, today Superannuation has revealed that Sony / Gaikai has registered PlayStation Cloud domains in preparation for tomorrow's PlayStation 4 launch.

To quote: "Superannuation has dug up domains for 'playstation-cloud.com', 'playstation-cloud.org' and 'ps-cloud.net', all registered on February 15 by Gaikai - the cloud gaming service which Sony acquired in July last year.

This comes just as the industry braces for what it expects to be the unveiling of Sony's next-generation PlayStation 4, or codename 'Orbis', at tomorrow's NYC event.

218w ago - Sony Computer Entertainment America recently staked claim to two intriguing video game names at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

To quote: The first title, Dominion, is definitely a code name for the reboot of the Crash Bandicoot franchise we've been waiting on for so long.

Or, possibly, a new God of War. Or, perhaps, a mash-up of the two franchises. Fine, we have absolutely no idea what Dominion is - but if it turns out to be God of Bandicoot, remember that we totally called it.

The second trademarked title, Starhawk, might actually lend some credence to rumors of an upcoming space-themed follow-up to Warhawk which we heard last month.

See, they replaced "War" with "Star," which is a celestial body that can be found in space.
