110w ago - Sony PlayStation Home Director Jack Buser has unveiled a PlayStation Home redesign tour trailer today, which spotlights new content including games, genre-based districts and more below.
To quote: As you might recall from my previous post, I revealed the big plans we had in store for a complete redesign of PlayStation Home- including a brand new Hub, genre-based districts, Total Game Integration, and a new questing system that turns Home itself into a game.
Now that we're getting close to launch, I thought the best way to show off all the new features we've packed into the upcoming new core experience would be to give you a tour of the redesign. Check out the below video for a rundown on some of the most exciting new features you'll be experiencing soon in PlayStation Home:
As you can see, PlayStation Home's new genre-based districts include a number of diverse and exclusive games that cater to players' different interests and styles.

238w ago - According to ComputerAndVideoGames (linked above), Sony knows nothing about the rumored pics of a new slim PS3 that are said to have leaked from a production line in a Chinese factory.
To quote: The shots show the matt black outer shell of a skinnier version of the console, complete with a slots for the Blu-ray disc drive, USB ports, and PS3 branding on the top and bottom (but not in the same Spider-Man-style font).
There's even a shot of the box, with all the PSN logos and a label indicating a 120GB internal hard drive.
Quite specifically Sony told us: "We don't know anything about the system in the photos."
300w ago - The PlayStation Store will be receiving a makeover this April, according to SCEA's director of product development John Hight.
Hight notes that numerous changes will be made to the client interface of the store, based largely on customer feedback. Expect a more clean-cut, simplified look.
We give them a lot of feedback based on how our customers are reacting to things, and I think you will see a pretty big change in the PlayStation Network in the early part of April, where we roll out some new interface stuff largely based on customer feedback.
Simplification, cutting down on the number of mouse clicks, making it easier to find stuff that you want to find... that's kind of an outgrowth of us having more content now, so we have to make sure that you can get at it easily.
On a side note, Hight mentioned that we could see Japanese PSOne titles on PSN in the near future, similar to how Nintendo offers foreign games through its Wii Virtual Console service.
