In our last post, Dick talked about some of the history behind Fun Fair, dating back to 2011 when we showed Hohokum for the first time. Now we have a new trailer for Fun Fair, accompanied by a track from Ben Benjamin Behold the mischief of the Balloon Seller!

Next up, we have Scott Hansen (Tycho) and Ben Benjamin here to talk about their work on the game. Both have composed original music for Hohokum and it's AMAZING. Tycho's track 'L' - from his new album 'Awake' - is the backdrop for Fun Fair in the game and was featured in our announcement trailer, which you can see here. Today, I caught up with Sony Computer Entertainment America Marketing Vice President John Koller for a status check on PS4's global rollout - an especially relevant topic, with the Japanese PS4 debut less than two weeks away.

PlayStation.Blog: Can you share any updates on PS4's global sell-through?

John Koller: The response has been fantastic. In the US, PS4 was #1 in sales for next-gen consoles in January, nearly doubling the nearest next-gen competitor. And PS4 remains the cumulative leader here based on today's report from the NPD Group.

Globally, we announced last month that we've sold through more than 4.2 million units as of the holiday season, making PS4's launch the biggest in console gaming history. I think the PS4 demand is indicative of how we've tapped into something special - and that's that gamers want to be recognized for their greatness and want to enjoy experiences together.

In addition to the answers Mr. Boltjes provided, we've compiled a list of some of the more frequently asked questions that have appeared online following our announcement of the multiplayer mode. In particular, we received numerous questions about the multiplayer framerate so, let's dive right in:

Will Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer have a variable frame rate?

No, we're running 60fps. However, the game may drop a few frames in extreme situations - when there are a lot of GPU-intensive things going on at once. Guaranteeing a constant 60fps under such circumstances would've required undesired concessions.
