Miriam has returned with an update to his PSP Custom Firmware, dubbed 3.95 GEN-2. Users of the Firmware will be pleased to know that Miriam has patched up compatibility issues with a number of homebrew applications in this release, most notably SNES9XTYL and PSPTube.

Additionally, the author notes that all recently reported bugs concerning fat model PSP units have been fixed. As usual, installation and usage instructions can be found in the included readme file.

Note: Although this is considered a stable release, we are still recommending that all users create a basic Pandora setup before installing so that you can easily downgrade back to 3.90 M33 in case the Firmware is not running as expected.

SofiyaCat has released a minor update to PSPTube. Coupled with an active WiFi connection, PSPTube allows users to playback video clips on their PSP from a variety of online sources, including YouTube, Stage6, NicoNico, Onsen and DailyMotion.

SofiyaCat has released an update for PSPTube today, now featuring preliminary video out support.

The feature outputs video at the resolution of 720×480 and of course is exclusive to PSP-2000 (Slim) units.

SofiyaCat has updated PSPTube today, which allows users to playback video clips from a variety of online sources directly on their PSP. These online sources include YouTube, Stage6, and DailyMotion.

Changes in the latest BETA build include the ability to change video filenames before and after downloading, as well as hide video comments and directly input specific video URLs. The full changelog is detailed below.
