125w ago - Update: Telegraph has now confirmed that Sony's Next Generation Portable (NGP) console will utilize NVG cards to provide an extra layer of security, to quote:
"NGP games will come on an 'NVG card', a flash based memory system that will also be able to store downloadable content. When pressed, Hirai said the NVG card was developed to 'add an extra layer of security' in order to deter piracy, a hot topic after recent PlayStation 3 hacks."

186w ago - According to both analysts and PSXExtreme.com (linked above), a new PSP console dubbed the PSP2 will arrive in 2010 to compliment Sony's PSPGo and feature PowerVR SGX543 graphics.
Apparently it has been in development since 2008, alongside several other PSP models, and will phase out the PSP-3000 console.

We learn that past rumors were also mostly true, as their sources tell us the PSP2 has been in development since 2008 and exactly one year ago today, Sony unofficially announced the selection of Imagination Technologies' SGX graphics processor.
