To quote: While MonkeyPaw Games continues to deliver import experiences from Japan, we also have plenty of classic PlayStation titles in our library to satisfy nostalgic needs of even the most dedicated PlayStation fan.

This coming Tuesday, June 19th, we'll be releasing the platforming-adventure classic [Register or Login to view links] on the PSN.

It will mark the first time that our pink-haired hero will be available digitally. It will be available for exclusive download in the PSOne Classics section.

Created by Tokuro Fujiwara, the same mastermind that brought us the memorable Ghosts & Goblins and Mega Man, the fresh mix of platforming and sub-quest based adventures make Tomba! one of the most ingenious and versatile PlayStation titles in the Store.





The story follows Tomba, a wild jungle boy who needs to get his lucky golden bracelet back from demon pigs that have overrun his land. He'll be using numerous weapons such as boomerangs and a large mace to overthrow a wide range of foes from evil pigs, spiders and large forest creatures.

To quote: When talk turns to classic strategy RPGs, most players immediately think of Tactics Ogre, Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics. These games could hold one's interest for hours upon hours.

Battles would be so intense and challenging that players needed to constantly find ways - no matter how small - to eke out an advantage that could be the difference between sweet victory or shameful defeat. Originally published as Epica Stella by Human Entertainment in Japan, Vanguard Bandits was released by legendary publisher Working Designs in North America. The PSone game was loaded with content: 60 different missions, three branching storylines, crazy plot twists and dialogue on the Ruin Branch, five endings and path-crossing narratives. Vanguard Bandits kept gamers glued to their screens for marathon gameplay sessions.

Bishi Bashi Special is Konami's first PSOne classic via PSN

The return of Bishi Bashi Special! Classic Konami PSOne title marks publisher's first download release via PlayStation Network in Europe Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has released its first title available via Sony's PlayStation Network download store in the form of PSOne classic, Bishi Bashi Special.





Originally released in 2000, Bishi Bashi Special is the definitive party game, and comprises over 80 fun mini-games - each madder than the last. Converted from two of Konami's Japanese arcade machines - Super Bishi Bashi and Hyper Bishi Bashi - the compilation is designed to test the player's reactions, timing and stamina.

As the name suggests, some involve simply bashing the controller buttons as quickly as possible, while others require pixel-perfect movement and extreme hand-eye coordination. All, however, are tremendous fun and doubly so when played against a friend.
