To quote, roughly translated: Bobby6killer offers a port of the game Another World (DOS version) on the PS3.
The developer had already made a tool PsARC that can compress archives PsARC quickly under Linux.
Another World for PS3
This project is based on the reverse engine made by Gregory Montoir, and reimplements the game Another World to be played on PS3. You need the original English DOS data files (in english, the game is known as "Out of This World").
Today it is a reimplementation of the game Another World in PS3, with some additional features from the original game:
To quote: Firstly, to avoid misunderstanding: This program is NOT for psp 3000. It is for psp1000/2000, but it allows the decryption of psp 3000 prx's for researching purposes.
Modules specifically of psp 3000 usually end with 03g. From the files, it seems that umdcache is handled differently in psp 3000, and that psp 3000 comes with a new wireless chip.
P.D: better looked now, it seems that wlanfirm_02g and wlanfirm_03g prx are equal. Same happens with umdcache_02g.prx and 03g. It seems that Sony enjoys making redundant data to make update eboots bigger.
From the ReadMe file: This is psardumper for 5.00. The table format has changed due to the inclusion of PSP3000.
Note: psp3000 modules cannot be decrypted yet, not even their names. The keys for the filenams table are in mesg_led03.prx of psp3000 which we cannot access yet. Additionally the keys for the modules themselves are in the ipl o psp3000 which cannot yet be accessed.
Due to that, you will see various warnings about "could not find path of XXXXX", just ignore that.
Other change in psardumper is no more buffer limitation for the psar, as it is now loaded dinamically from ms, and not the whole thing at beginning.
