PS4 DLNA Support Rumored to Arrive in 2015, PS Mobile App Redesign

20w ago - Today a Sony employee unofficially announced that PS4 DLNA support is rumored to arrive in early 2015 alongside a PlayStation Mobile application redesign in the works and more below.

To quote: We’re all excited to find about what new features are coming to our PS4s in the coming months. Verified Sony employee [Register or Login to view links] shared some interesting information over at the [Register or Login to view links].

He talked about upcoming DLNA support for PS4, a redesign for the PS Mobile App and PS3 entitlements possibly carrying over to PS Now.

In regards to much awaited DLNA support, [Register or Login to view links] estimated an early 2015 release date. He also noted that Video and MP3 support could come as early by the Holiday season this year.

I’d say early 2015 for DLNA.

More Ways to Play Knack: PS4 Co-op Mode, Mobile App Detailed

58w ago - Sony Associate Project Manager Nick Accordino shared details today on more ways to play Knack, including a PS4 co-op mode and mobile application as outlined below.

To quote: Hello, everyone. We're just a little over a week away from the launch of PS4, and I can't wait for everyone to finally get their hands on Knack.

If you're looking for a taste of something different, something a little more old-school, Knack is the perfect PS4 game for you. With Knack, not only are we taking gamers back to the days of classic games like Crash Bandicoot, we're also introducing some new and unique ways to experience the game.

We have a unique two-player coop mode that puts a fun twist on traditional co-op games and is a great reason to pick up an extra DualShock 4 controller. If you own a PS Vita, there's of course Remote Play, which can even work in conjunction with our two-player co-op.

We have a fun social connectivity feature that lets you unlock collectibles faster through your network of PSN friends, and finally, we have a brand new standalone mobile game app called Knack's Quest. I'm here to talk about all of these today.
