59w ago - Bungie Community Manager DeeJ revealed the first Destiny PS4 gameplay trailer from E3 2013 below today!

To quote: Hey everybody! We're incredibly excited to be at E3 this year to reveal Destiny gameplay for the first time. We hope you like what you see. If you want more, check out the official Destiny gameplay trailer, and stay tuned for more information in the weeks and months to come!

Finally, for those unaware: From the creators of Halo and the publisher of Call of Duty comes Destiny.

With an unprecedented variety of FPS gameplay, Destiny promises to deliver an incredible story set within a newly-imagined, always-connected universe filled with action and adventure.

Everything changed with the arrival of the Traveler. It sparked a Golden Age when our civilization spanned the solar system... but it didn't last. Something hit us, knocked us down.

The survivors built a city beneath the Traveler, and have begun to explore our old worlds, only to find them filled with deadly foes. In Destiny, you are a Guardian of the last safe city on Earth, able to wield incredible power. Defend the City. Defeat our enemies. Reclaim all that we have lost.

Thanks for watching!

Transistor Coming to PlayStation 4 / PS4 from Creators of Bastion

59w ago - Supergiant Games Creative Director Greg Kasavin announced today that Transistor is coming to PlayStation 4 / PS4 from the creators of Bastion.

To quote: I remember when the seven of us at Supergiant were days away from revealing our first game, Bastion, back at PAX Prime in 2010. The game had been in development for about a year but we were only just figuring out how to talk about it to the public.

When people would ask us "what is this game about," what would we say? We weren't sure at first, because Bastion is an action RPG where an old man talks to you the whole time - and that sounds really, really terrible. Thankfully, those who played it tended to come away with a much more positive impression.

We eventually came up with stuff we could say about Bastion with a straight face, but by far our favorite way of presenting the game to people was to invite them to play it. Now here I am trying to tell you about our next game, Transistor, and I wish I could just hand you a controller and let you try it for yourself.

We revealed it earlier this year at PAX East, and today we've announced it will be making its console debut on the PlayStation 4 when we're finished with it sometime early next year. If you check our reveal trailer, you'll get a feel for what Transistor...

70w ago - Sony Developer and Publisher Relations Vice President Adam Boyes is here with the GDC 2013 wrap-up videos stating that indie developers are choosing PS4, PS3 and PS Vita gaming consoles.

To quote: To reintroduce myself, I am the vice president of publisher and developer relations for SCEA, which is a fancy way of saying that I'm working day-in and day-out with my team here to get the world's best and brightest developers to bring their great gaming experiences to all of our PlayStation platforms.

Since my last post, I've joined SCEA and expanded the incredible team that focuses on fostering relationships with publishers and developers that share our goal of bringing the best games to you, the PlayStation community. With that said, the publisher and developer relations team has exciting news to deliver tonight.

During this year's Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco, our team has put a strong focus on independent game developers. This evening, we collaborated with the PlayStation Network team to host a PlayStation Indie Arcade event, where we gave hands-on demos for more than 25 indie games that are coming to all PlayStation platforms. Our goal is to continue to work with the independent developer community to provide fantastic games you can't find anywhere else.
